I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. did you know that this song got banned from national radio (?) because it's too addictive for students who's going to take the college entrance exam. ngl, i did listen to this before my exam paper and my head was full of the chorus😭😂

Thank you so much for acknowledging SF9 dance work. I hope people do recognize that SF9 IS a DANCE group that are totally capable of doing hard or synchronized choreography. However, they are already moved on from synchronized dance choreo to establish their own unique and elegant dance style that you find in their newer songs.

ugh o sole mio is so addictive !! yah idk why they did their filming like that for their dance practice. they filmed their dance practices like that from basically debut to 2017 and it's so weird lmao. but back to o sole mio. o sole mio hits so hard and it's so catchy !!
I think it’s mostly because of the studio, from what I know it’s a relatively small studio space so I think they have the camera set up high with a fish eye lens so that they can get everyone in...the problems with having a small space and tall members 😂😂😂

A lot of haters always point out that SF9 are weak dancers but now that Jeff explained it I can always show them this reaction and how hard SF9 choreographies are. Thank you so much Jeff. This so literally gets stuck in your head for days. As a fellow dancer I find it super impressive that even though all of them are pretty damn tall it doesn’t hinder them while dancing and they’re just so satisfying to watch
Also as a Sf9 ult, I’m so happy they’re slowly getting more attention cuz allow their music slaps

I stop listening to kpop since 2013 but this song pop up in my recommendation, not the mv but their comeback stage.. I just click because im curious but after that the chorus play in my head for a week. Since then i listen to all of their songs

There’s a very slight nod to paso in the choreo that absolutely warmed my little ballroom/Latin heart the first time I watched this mv....seeing them live was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, they just have this insane ability to put just the right amount of power into their performances and it’s so entertaining to watch them perform 😍
I really should get into reviewing kpop choreo as a trained ballroom/latin dancer especially with choreos like this, so much of this choreo in particular is reliant on using paso posture and arm placement, it’s just so different
I fell In love with this song too when I first heard in Kingdom. Then, i searched this and it’s on my playlist now on repeat!

All the guys are so damn tall and the practice room is so small. It's probably the only way they could all be in frame 🥲

I have been a Fantasy for more than 4 years and I clearly remember how they prepared for the comeback with O Sole Mio. The members said that the choreography was so difficult for them that they even practiced until they vomited. They dreamed of this song having its 1st win or at least entering a chart, but they were not given that opportunity. It makes me quite sad that SF9 is not recognized as it deserves, FNC should have worked more on them ... I just hope they do better after kingdom :(

it’s interesting that you said that one move reminded you of competitive dancing considering that sf9 was originally a dance crew. i think that shines through in different ways in a lot of their choreo!

O Sole Mio and Mamma Mia are my favorite SF9 songs. All of their songs are great, but these two are superior. Two more songs I really like are Echo and Heartbeat.

SF9 was the 2nd kpop group I ever got into (about 3 weeks after their debut in fact) and although I haven't kept as much up with them the past few years as I used to, their music and mvs are always amazing! I'm so glad they're becoming more noticed and they always hold a special place to me, their talent is unmatched

*Funfact:* The solo parts of Taeyang (orange jacket doing the spin) in the music video are all free style! The producer just told him to do some freestyle dance to fill in the spaces and this is what happend.

This is one of my favorite SF9 songs and the song that decided my bias lol. So I think that's why TBZ performance didn't leave a huge impression on me. I like the original way too much.

Glad to hear I am not the only one. TBZ cover has great dance elements as usual, but in my opinion, the remake of the song and vocal somehow lost a bit of dynamics/upbeat making it overall less impactful.
Having grown up in Spain I can say that some of these moves are bullfighting moves. The cape is like that of a matador. Their moves are very staccato moving gracefully then snapping to a still position.
Thanks for this reaction. Can you also do JayB (formerly JB) of GOT7's solo debut with H1GHR Music? The song is Switch It Up. Instead of a traditional prerecorded MV it was recorded live. He sounds like he swallowed a CD. There is a dance break you will love. The lyrics are very sensual and sexy with strong R&B vibe and featuring a rap flows so well when contrasted with JsyB's honey vocals.

There actually IS a tv show of el zorro, it's 3 seasons long (82 episodes) but it's from 1957
Just to say, "Zorro" HAS a tv show, but it's in Spanish, it's very old, for example, "Don Diego" From the movie of Antonio Banderas, is the zorro from that tv show, that was released on 1957; produced by Disney :D

yess i really love this song and choreo its so beautiful the way they use the clothes and incorporate the latin influence in the dance too this is definitely one of my favorite titles from sf9 and one of their most addictive songs too, also since you like Midnight Road you should check out the special vid for the performance they have for that!
