Thanks for watching!
Nice introduction Jeff, lot’s new for sure!!💪🤗🇺🇸
It’s almost overwhelming
Carry a freezer bag size of brown sugar with you. When u drive the load of Crete home put 2 handfuls in the mix with a touch of water. Let it swing in reverse to mix for a minute. It will drop out hopper like water a couple hours later I promise u. I Always carried the brown sugar around with all the chemical additives going on in Crete these days
Yes I need to start doing that.
Does that help with the Crete or help to clean out the hopper after the pour
Sweeeeet pro tip right there
Great video Jeff! I think this is a great option for hardscaping contractors whom already have the skid-steer and pour just 1-2 loads of concrete a couple/few times per week. Perhaps someday an option of using an electric power-pack would open up a whole other realm of options as well.
I think you guys may have struck gold with this setup!!!
It’s a great opportunity for a lot of businesses.
Great Job! That new remote is working out pretty slick!
Thanks Darrin!
Hey Jeff have a good weekend man tell everybody else I said have a good weekend take care
Y’all stay safe
that 2.5 inch works great with the bentonie clay slick mix primer
I’m sticking with my grout for now
It’s great you figured out how to use that contraption, now if you could figure out your camera 😂
🤣🤣🤣 one day I’ll have my priorities straight
Iv have great luck with cps hoses and clamps
This is my first ones to have
I’d say you need to buy out your local Ollies of all their tarps for that deal in the future.
Definitely
Do you guys always use grout to prime? We use slick Willy here
Yes grout is my main primer. If I screw up and forget to by some I carry packets of prima pac from concrete pump supply. It’s basically bentonite
Is there a water box or does it use "environmentally safe" hydraulic fluid?
Yes, it does have a water box.
❤❤
👍👊
what slump were you pumping and what size aggregate please
Probably a 7” and 57mm and pea gravel blend. We have another video where we were pumping a 3” slump. It was crazy. We had to rake it down the chute. It wouldn’t even come down by its self.
They make 2 1/2 in pipe with a 90 degrees that hook to the load hoper don't have to climb on the mixer all from the ground..
Yes. I’ll be getting one more than likely
Yes it will pay for its self slipping of the flop isn't a purity site keep on filming
mornin jeff
Afternoon!
I kniw y'all are in TX but how's that pump perform in cold temperatures, just curious?
We have some videos from back in December. It performed flawlessly then. The guys that build it are from Minnesota. They where using it there when the temperatures where warm enough to pour concrete.
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping I’ll check them out. Y’all should do a collaboration with Victory outdoor sometime, you both have great channel’s 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I’ve talked with him about it. It’s just finding time to go there and pumping for him.
Nokona...is that the glove company base ball and soft ball gloves
Yes the baseball gloves. And we also have a belt company. All are owned by separate individuals
i vote fot the onesie for Chris🤣😂
🤣🤣🤣
I don't understand why they don't use gravel on the bottom before putting down the plastic. Then they could use the metal bar to tighten it up and pour the concrete.
Don’t always have to lol
I don’t know why some of these guys pour concrete without any reinforcement. 🤷♂️
Neat machine. You know how many people I have told that I can't pump back into the mixer truck when line pumping. Now there gonna see this and say WELL MUDDY FEET CAN DO IT. thanks alot man. Hahahaha. I'll still say absolutely not.
Just another tool in the tool box. Definitely easier to do with the 2.5” versus the 3”
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping oh absolutely. I get to use our 2.5 inch hose this week. Actually kinda excited.
What’s the price point for the remote version?
The pump and remote system is $55k. We also have financing available. And we also have hose system available. This can be a one stop shop for anyone.
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumpingnot terrible. Could be a lucrative side business for me
Absolutely. Pump concrete for part of the day and use the skid steer with other attachments to make money the rest of the day
that hose is light enough to curl up too dont even need a rope for it
I need to get some Velcro straps for them
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping we used mule tape we rolled half then put a half hitch knot on 25 ft plus the end then put a longer rope for the rest of it plus the end and worked perfect just pull the string and its undone
I thought your not allowed to put concrete on straight dirt
Who doesn’t allow it?
2.5” hose is the way to go, that’s all we use and have pumped 900’ of hose with 250’ elevation.
It’s a matter of time. I just have to gain more confidence it. I force some really harsh mixes through 3”. I’ll get it figured out.
@muddyfeet go help your friend with pour building pad
Thanks for watching!!!
Howdy muddy feet 👣
Evening Tugboat!
giver straight onto dirt ground LOL
It’ll never work
Those guys placing concrete right on top of topsoil and grass…real professions eh?! 🤦♂️
🤷♂️
😂
no base? just straight onto dirt? oh boy
It has rebar! No need for base it’s not a foundation.
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping first i’ve ever heard of this thought process. That will sink and rise
On a limb here....some of these neg comments -- what if Jeff paid
Having a balance of keeping new updated equipment and tax right offs is a big part of the business. Unfortunately it can cut into the profit and I have seen guys go broke trying to avoid paying taxes by buying equipment. My goal is to keep equipment well maintained and try not to have an equipment payment. It takes time.
Sure pumps down real low!
I noticed that also.
Wouldn't a trailer pump be more convenient?
These have the pros and cons. But it does give you more avenues for revenue being an attachment for a skid steer.
MSRP?
$55k that’s with the Aarcomm remote. It doesn’t include system but we can get you that also.
I’m not sure my skid is new enough to set the hydraulic flow like that. I’ll remember that on the next one I purchase
Contact Matt at Mud Demon. He’s very knowledgeable on different models. I bet you can set you aux to manual. It’s probably done a different way.
mnkotamfg.com/mnkotasales/muddemon/
@bradley-concrete what model and year do you have
@@MuDemon2023it’s a 2007 Kubota svl75
it is solved a problem what does not exist. I can't see in scenario where a trailer pump cannot be just as effective. or a little boom pump off the back end.
The bigger picture of things is this gives you more options to make money with other opportunities. I can only pump concrete with a trailer pump. With the Mud Demon I can pump concrete and use the skid steer for other opportunities for income.
Pre-tier 4 emissions I would have agreed with you wholeheartedly, but…. with the added costs of being emissions complaint these days now pushing the cost of trailers pumps north of $100K, a guy whom already owns a skid-steer now being able to grab a unit like this for $55K could be a good option.
I 100 percent agree that it’s probably not the ideal unit for someone who’s primary business is pumping concrete all day every day, but I think it does fit a niche for contractors whom pump only a couple/few small pours weekly and are not wanting to schedule around rental pump availability.
Josh if you change your mind I’m a sale representative for the Mud Demon. I have purposely not endorsed a lot of products that I have been offered. Mainly because I’m not in the business to be salesman and especially if I don’t have 100% confidence in the product. I can stand behind this. The main components are built by Schwing concrete pumps. They are a proven leader in the concrete pump industry. All wear parts and main component parts can be purchased from a Schwing dealer or Schwing themselves. My contact I is in the description of the video. Feel free to to contact me if you would like to purchase one.
I'm sorry I can't see it in the UK skid steers are rare things but a quick Google Search is £35,000 and I mud demoned at £44,000 total cost £79,000 and I bet you can spend another £20,000 on parts and pipes. I don't think you'd be much better off. total cost £99,000 to $123,497.55
if you think you can make it work go ahead. I don't know if you have bought this or have been testing it. I might change my mind once you've got your setup sorted out and dialed in but for now I will stick to my previous comment.
so it's a problem what does not exist.
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumpingI am a swing Guy and I had no thought of it falling apart.
I am in no position to buy one as I am employee not an owner of a company just a concrete pumping nerd.
I thought you might be a brand ambassador and I know you don't do many if any sponsorships I have been watching your videos for years. and I haven't seen a sponsorship for a VPN. maybe even less than a thousand subscribers.
You worked so hard until you bought one. It works well for small jobs, very well, muddy.
I look forward to showing all of its capabilities
Nah
I would put it against the one you have
