Besides Arrogance...Overconfidence, Wrong choice of candidates (assuming anyone can win in the name of Modi), Failure of polarization on the basis of religion..that is..Mandal 2 (Social justice) politics of INDIA alliance overpowered the Mandir 2politics of BJP, not taking RSS cadre into confidence..... and some more factors led to the defeat of BJP in UP.
