I had priviledge to visit Kashmir Srinagar district this April. I did see that too much electricity issues there especially for localites. Got full picture from our driver for that trip. Also i felt people are dependent on tourism to earn for the entire year. Hopefully J&K situation improves as i enjoyed my whole trip and the driver was really very nice.

I am from Jammu, abrogation of article 370 did more harm to Jammuites than Kashmir, No big industries came here as promised before, Unemployment peaking, all new taxes were added(land tax etc.), and there are additional pressure on government officials to get the revenue from these taxes, already poor public getting poorer, no big exams are conducting without corruption, No tourism or related industries in Jammu, no grievances are heard as Bureaucracy is there. Situation in JK is so grim, people are suffering, none is here to listen,
I am from Border Region of Jammu District (Bishnah Assembly ), as in the Lok Sabha elections the border area voted against the BJP and in favour of Congress , the same seems to farily correct for Assembly Elections. The rural areas of Jammu are mostly against the BJP due to Agniveer , Lack of Jobs , Electricity issues , while Urban region of the Jammu(5-6 assembly seats) are a safe bet for BJP . My prediction will be Congress will get about 10-15 seats , for BJP it will be about 20-25 in Jammu region , I might be wrong as future is uncertain and anything can happen.
As a Kashmiri I think it's a stupid thing to declare Kashmir peaceful right now because Armed Forces Act (AFSPA) is still in force , Government is unable to resettle Kashmiri Pandits , Security bunkers are more here than street vendors , peaceful protests are seen as anti-national demonstrations and many more.....

Now, when it feels like the damage has already been done, they return with promises of change. However, despite this lingering mistrust, there is hope for the best.
With time, people have become more responsible and politically aware. There is a recognition that development, infrastructure, and access to resources are essential for survival, and these cannot be secured without political engagement. Governments hold the key to critical resources, and when they distribute these unfairly-favoring certain groups over others-people now understand the importance of standing up for their rights. A shift in mindset has occurred, where people have begun to differentiate between right and wrong and realize that political participation is vital to ensuring their rights are protected and resources are not misused.
In this new era, there is a stronger understanding that staying passive is no longer an option. Political participation is essential for securing one's rightful share and safeguarding interests in a rapidly changing political landscape.

I had priviledge to visit Kashmir Srinagar district this April. I did see that too much electricity issues there especially for localites. Got full picture from our driver for that trip. Also i felt people are dependent on tourism to earn for the entire year. Hopefully J&K situation improves as i enjoyed my whole trip and the driver was really very nice.

I'm from Kashmir and I just want to convey "Human rights violation is happening in Kashmir because kashmiris are protesting against illegal occupation of India, not that kashmiris are protesting against human rights violation. Kashmiri people want Indian state to Stop it's settler colonial agenda in Kashmir". I will correct you here that Kashmiris didn't accede to India in 1947 but Maharaja did (though with some conditions), which is opposite to Hyderabad and Junagad where people aceeded but Maharaja didn't want to accede, but at the end it's people who decided the future".

I am from Jammu, abrogation of article 370 did more harm to Jammuites than Kashmir, No big industries came here as promised before, Unemployment peaking, all new taxes were added(land tax etc.), and there are additional pressure on government officials to get the revenue from these taxes, already poor public getting poorer, no big exams are conducting without corruption, No tourism or related industries in Jammu, no grievances are heard as Bureaucracy is there. Situation in JK is so grim, people are suffering, none is here to listen,

I am from Border Region of Jammu District (Bishnah Assembly ), as in the Lok Sabha elections the border area voted against the BJP and in favour of Congress , the same seems to farily correct for Assembly Elections. The rural areas of Jammu are mostly against the BJP due to Agniveer , Lack of Jobs , Electricity issues , while Urban region of the Jammu(5-6 assembly seats) are a safe bet for BJP . My prediction will be Congress will get about 10-15 seats , for BJP it will be about 20-25 in Jammu region , I might be wrong as future is uncertain and anything can happen.

As a Kashmiri I think it's a stupid thing to declare Kashmir peaceful right now because Armed Forces Act (AFSPA) is still in force , Government is unable to resettle Kashmiri Pandits , Security bunkers are more here than street vendors , peaceful protests are seen as anti-national demonstrations and many more.....

I am from j&k and when i see people talking rubbish about article 370 it makes me feel sad that they are simply becoming victim of bjp’s propaganda. Also I would like to add that bjp has been successful in dividing people here too on the basis of religion and caste……I am a pahadi from doda and i never experienced any hatered between hindu muslim until bjp came in.
