It's quite and peaceful here. I'm sure it's a wonderful morning stroll. It seems to be a misty very early morning. Thanks for sharing your beautiful video. Greetings Like 9
This is why my dreams goals was to live in Japan countryside, peaceful, beautiful, serene places, helpful folks, and caring each other. Out of a dreams and like depicted in the movies or anime
Ambient Exploration: Please don't apologize for the foggy camera lens, it is all part of the misty moisty early morning walk vibe through Sakate port town on Shodo Island! It did have a nice dreamy effect! This charming rural seaside community filled with homes with narrow paved passages, green hillsides many with communal and personal vegetable gardens is a pleasure to see. Many thanks for this wonderful trek and oh my goodness, what a huge black and yellow spider!!!! Yikes! It could have it's own zip code! My grown daughter who has arachnophobia would go running for the hills! LOL. Happy Safe Travels, Margie
The spider did look like he was paying rent...and it's still early in the season. There will be a bit less bushwhacking for the next few months. This village was really interesting, it's the main port town connecting to Kobe but there are no shops - only a craft brewery. I heard the locals are planning a bit of revitalization for the town so it will be interesting to see what happens.
@@ambient_exploration , That is very interesting information about the village. I could see from your filming that there were areas of reconstruction going on. It is always nice to see places like this where its community invests and supports its own growth potential, and its young people stick around rather than move away to the bigger cities. I got that united tone of this small port by just watching your video. I mentioned seeing the communal gardens, because these look tended by more than one family for their larger sizes. Or, these could be for local sales, but I didn't see any evidence of small wooden sheds for displaying produce like they have in other Japanese countrysides, which have a pay by honor system in place. The surprising fact that there are no shops, except for the craft brewery is really unique. It's like an untouched haven for locals and an undiscovered jewel for visitors who rather flock to Kobe for its many wondrous sights . Just thoughts fluttering through my mind... Happy Safe Travels, Margie
