Walking the Cats After a Rainy Morning ☔️

Spending most of the morning indoors made the cats tense. Therefore, an afternoon walk is a must 🐈 It seemed like the dog walkers had the same idea since it rained all morning. Neither cats like dogs, still, they are fascinated by them.
The intense wind had the cats on high alert. Encountering dogs did not help the situation. The walks were quick and short. They had just enough outdoors time before the second onset of torrential downpour 😻 #bellathekitten #mallorythecat #catbehavior #catvideo #catlover #adventurecat

@@mallorycatgallery Actually it is tree sweat ;-) The trees give off oils and other substances that settle on the ground and accumulate.
If it rains it is solved and becomes fragrant again;-)
So sweat can smell good-if you are a tree ;-)

Mallory was waiting for the dog right next to a wooden fence she knew she could climb in a pinch ;-)
Interesting water must be tried-they are desert animals that just live here,..so they do not rely on their human to provide water-
that could be gone in an instant (which is true and we humans should take that into account)-so cats are probably the perfect preppers ;-)
In a pinch they can drink sea water with no ill effects....
don't try that at sea, humans!
Besides rainwater is the only water you can drink without further preparation (not necessarily out of a puddle for a human) and it has absolutely no smell to it-
which can put off cats from drinking it.
We had rain also, but it only got more humid and did not cool down properly

It's been two days of rain so far. The plus side is that it has gotten cooler

I once tried to cook noodles with sea water. Total failure, they were *so* salty I couldn't even swallow the first bit.
You can cook noodles with sea water if you start with fresh water, then add about 1-2 tablespoons of sea water per liter of fresh water.
