that's awesome! What made you decide to start a PhD? Advice wise... I can only compare it to first two years of medical school and what I hear from my peers in clinic but it's definitely very different. A lot more independent thinking and flexibility in terms of workstyle/creative control, which I really enjoy. Some of the earlier courses for us had plenty of differential equations so be sure to review that if it's been a while!
@@worldwildmed I realized that I needed engineering skills to combine with my biomedical skills to find solutions to intractable health challenges. I will likely focus on Tissue/immunoengineering or immunomodulation.
