the sad thing about modern dance is that it has really lost any connection to music. It ain't musical, at best it uses music as a sort of background wallpaper. choreographers are incapable of choreographing musically. Much less give physical meaning and symbiosis with music. It doesn't even have an independent dialogue with music ala Cage/Cunningham.
@@silbro123 well it's the difference between using the music and igonring the music. With stuff like what's on the video, you could literally dub any music and it wouldn't make any difference...... it would even make less a connection with the music than a Cunningham/Cage piece where every connection is a random one. A lot of choreography of this variety is terribly void of expression and subject. I'm not favoring a Russian Swan Lake either (cause if you see a video from the Boshoi say, the dancers are spectacularly un musical) They're destroying the music for the sake of an extra turn or leap o balance). Still name me one modern/ or theatrical dance choreographer that knows how to use music ? 99% just wiggle about and have some soundscape wallpaper in the background - and worse a lot of it is very much ado about very little.
Desde 🇦🇷 maravillosa integración de la música y el cuerpo ,gracias infinitas 🌟✨
Thank you
Hi, Dose anyone know who is the video photographer of this number?

It is not modern dance: It's theatre-dance. Otros códigos expresivos...otra relación con la métrica musical. A hug hrom Patagonia, Argentina🇦🇷😊👋🎶🎵
@@silbro123 wow big difference.....
It's still very unmusical.
