Brings back memories,me and my mates used to fish beadnell and seahouses regularly in the summer. We got some cracking kelpies, but prime bait was peeler crab, had cod up to 7lb were you were and sometimes only needed a short lob,its deep close in and alot of reefs. Seahouses is the same ,had fish from less than 30 yards out
Brilliant video with tumultuous skies. Very Lord Of The Rings scenery. It also shows that in all angling patience is very important and just take the day for what it is, time in the great outdoors ❤❤❤
Fished that same place a couple times few years ago and blanked, although the rocks at low water behind wall where you parked your car had some good pollock on lures low water.
Well done Hinny 😊 You cast really well but pay attention to rigs, baits and locations. Ask 4 questions, what am I trying to catch, what does it feed on (that's what you'll use for bait) where do you find that food (that's where you'll fish) and what time of day or night is it most active (that's when you'll fish). Answer those and you're 80% of the way to catching it before you leave your front door 😊 Watch some of Mark Williams early rig building videos as he shows you step by step how to make pulley rigs, up & overs etc
Thanks Ian 👍 yeh, I do need to learn more about making rigs, and bait, time, location etc, it’s time for me to go digging deeper in and do some research, I’ll check out those videos cheers
My last 3(4) sessions were; BLANC, BLANC, 1 (put it back, it was cool) today BLANC. I got home and watched your video and thought, there's nothing like having lessons from a woman on how to catch fish. I finally saw fish being caught. You are good, my first comment on your channel was "Always nice to see a woman fishing, especially fishing like this".
Well done Hinny that's a really tough mark out on the point , I've fished it many times while on holiday and all I've done is lost lots of gear !! 😂 I have heard of some nice cod caught off the point so keep trying. I think the beach is better in winter but beautiful part of Northumberland 😊
Excellent video as always.ps have you had any bass yet.you need to get down to Rye Harbour east sussex myself and my mate are there fishing there next week if i get a bass will put it on face book so keep a look out for the post.😊
@@fishinghinny you will get one I just know it trust me ps keep up the good videos you take the videos to a next level.you represent the ladys of fishing good on you that's what I say.all the best Stephen
If you catch an eel, hit it on the tail (not hard) it stuns it & will stop it writhing around to make it easier to unhook. It will still swim away ok 👍
@@fishinghinny it was on country file a while back in the forth I'm a fisherman myself fished the full British isles and Norway my pb is a 31 lb kelp cod from the shore . currently learning to walk from a work accident and operation from a broken leg can't wait to dust my rods of and get out every little fish counts ❤️
Cheers for the vid Danielle ...another enjoyable watch lass.
Thanks Hugh, always a pleasure 👍🎣🐟
