      Thanks Nic, crab and mussel is a good combination. Thankfully we have had ‘some’ nice weather here but it’s still very unpredictable and certainly much windier that normal.

    I was told many years ago every time you fish you will learn something the day you dont time to pack in 🤷
    Little tip keep a diary for eveytime you go out fishing date tide time 👍

      Yeh, spot on.
      I have thought about keeping a diary, and I will now do that - it makes sense, over time the marks will give up their secrets as to when to fish and how to fish. Tight lines 👍🎣🐟

    I am one of those people that can’t get out fishing but with you all the time. I put you on the 75” TV and emerging in the moment great to see. Yourself and other UA-camrs are inspiring me to try harder to get out there. So a big thank you and keep up the great work you do helping others. TIGHT LINES.

    Been fishing with Gemini splash downs for years with a rotten bottom clip but now I've just seen you bending out the splashdown to turn it into a built in rotten bottom I'll do away with the clips. Thanks for the tip. 30 plus years sea angling and always learning 👍

    Isn't it great that even if you've been fishing for a while that you get so excited at getting a bite. Very grey skies made better by a bubbly optimistic angler. A chappy days fishing is still better than a good day at work 😊❤❤

      Yeh it’s a stunning location, with lots of fishing marks, definitely more videos to come from that area.
      Fishing seems to not be so good all over at the minute, not sure what’s going on! Perhaps warming seas are having an effect on the fish, we are getting less summer cod and more bass this year here on the ne coast 🤔

    Fishing is great for the mind Danielle especially if you are feeling under the weather, it always seems to put me in a better place weather I catch a bass or not. Keep the video content coming your a breath of fresh air.

      Thank you, I’be always felt better after getting out and about, now catching a bass would make me feel fantastic - I still haven’t managed one yet, but I guess the wait is part of the fun 🤩

    Thank you for another great vid. I have had some of my best times, without catching any fish.i have gone home refreshed and positive with a clear mind. I have a Penn battle 3 longcast , it's the business. Tight lines you are always a tonic to watch.

    With you all the way Danielle getting out to clear the old head, had a bad time myself losing my wife 4 years ago, and going fishing lets you untangle your mind nevermind your line, so keep on with your fishing its great to watch, well done xx

      Yeh that wrasse was completely different from the ones I’ve seen on the west coast, beautiful fish, almost exotic in colour 🤩👍🎣🐟

    With my crab I take the legs and claws of peel all the shell off the body cut it up the middle tie it on with elastic use the legs and claws for tipping off another bait that just a personal way I do it😊

      I’ve tried taking the legs/claws off but I find them really tricky to peel, I’ll experiment for future trips, I’ve not used peeler much at all so it’s a learning curve 👍🎣🐟

    Yep, some people get fishing and some people don’t and it’s not about catching fish. The good thing about it is, you don’t need a lot of money to do it and you don’t need to catch fish to enjoy it.

      Get out and enjoy it, and generally you’ll do just as well with reasonably priced gear than spending a fortune on top notch gear - the fish don’t care how much you spent 👍🎣🐟

    That's very true, catching is a bonus. How many times have you been asked by someone, when you're walking back to the car "have you caught owt?" I think as along as you've enjoyed yourself it never matters

    You need to completely shell the crab bait plus take the lung's out if you want peel the legs and freeze them for flattie fishing..the way you presented the crab was wrong ..great video by the way..👍

      It’s distortion from the wide lens setting on the GoPro, the outer edges get more distorted towards the edges of the screen

      Was frozen peeler Micky,m from S&L Blyth, and Billy in Shields has some frozen soft backs in too 🦀
