No, it doesn't but I think I know what she meant, like, if you let it dry by itself it's better than drying it with anything else, like, there are many wild animals would put bottles, or anything else to dry on a radiator 😂
What she meant was hopefully not that air kills Bacteria. But you should let the stuff dry. If you for example wash a bowl, and then you put the lid on while it's still wet, it'll grow bacteria. So while Air doesn't kill bacteria, the absence of moisture can prevent the remaining 1% of bacteria from multiplying.
If those were left full of water allll summer you should have at least used a little bleach on them or some kind of sanitizer… because air doesn’t kill bacteria.
I don’t think that would be a good idea I rember once I was told how someone used bleach to clean a cup so how it stained the taste and now it taste like bleach when you drink from that cup not sure if it true tho
@@bepositive9992 it's correct English. Her reaction was because of the fact that the woman didn't wash the bottles once school was out but rather kept them unwashed all summer long
I haven't found a solid way to clean the rubber under the pivoting mouth piece. I have to soak the tops in bleach and hot water to kill the mold that grows in there from time to time.
What about on the lid the two corner pieces I noticed is very hard to get it there. Two time square holes. I love yeti but I believe that’s one flaw about these cups.
A video on how everyone in the world already cleans a water bottle 😮 also fyi air absolutely does not kill bacteria don’t know where you got that info from but take it back 😂
Air does not kill bacteria 😂😂😂😂😂
Lmao ikr
Lolol…I was SO into this and then💥nooooo😖

distilled vinegar is a great option for stainless steel water bottles!
I don’t think that would be a good idea

The soap already killed it
No, bleach and harsh chemicals are damaging to the container and your health.
air doesnt kill bacteria, I think you meant moisture can lead to bacteria growing so you're letting it air dry to prevent it?
yeah... she was sort of on the right track but... didn't quite say it right 😂
All summer long / air kills bacteria 💀 okay moving on 😂😂😂
I’m just learning English. Why isn’t “all summer long” correct? Thanks

You didnt clean under the rubber seal tho
What about the straw spout?!? It creates mold
This irritates me that parents don't check kids book bags.
It shouldn’t be the parents job, the kids need to be independent
There is a reason why kids are still with there parents.🙄
@@christab2050 do you expect kids to be with their parents forever?
@@Darkminion2122 until it's time for them to leave. Parents are responsible. Now I'm done with you. Be gone!

You can remove the straw piece and wash the plastic inside too
Same!!! Struggling here
Why would anyone leave a kids water bottle all summer without cleaning? Rude
😮 sweetie, Air does not kill bacteria.
At least the air killed all that bacteria under the seals she didn't remove from the lids 🤔🧐🥴
Thank you 😊
Air absolutely does not kill bacteria. I clean my yeti with bar keepers friend once a week. It takes everything off. If I only used dish soap - ew.
You should clean it daily. Specially the mouth piece
i don’t mean to hate but what are you showing us how to clean a bottle!
Because some of us viewers have never learned to cleaned them, instead just throw them out.
Good video.👏
She does what the title say. 👍🏻

Why leave in backpack all summer letting bacteria grow. Throw them out…
That’s a YETI cup, not just some shit you throw away. Especially if it’s personalized. It’s worth trying to clean it
It’s a $30 water bottle no way anyone would buy $60 worth of perfectly good water bottles just to throw away every year
@@ExcludedShadow buy them in bulk and they’re actually like $3 a piece. Marketing my dude.
@@paigeeeey5611 I agree. Exactly why she shouldn’t leave them wet in the backpacks for months lol
@@jh2471 I call bullshit

Lady...air does not kill bacteria. WTF lmaooooo
I thought this would've had more comments
"Clean the mouth piece If your kids are like mine"... you mean any human being that drinks out of a straw right?😐
Wth all summer long lmao
Just like everyone else
Dishwasher
Are you ducking kidding me?? You use soap?? Mind blown 🤯 omg
Uhhh no
Take off the rubber seal!!! You will see gunk 🤢🤮
Been sitting in their bags All summer long real mamas say that lol
