These are super - these tours of studios. Thank you all. Great inspiration. I have what I call my drawing table, which is the same table in Nancy's studio. I keep the drawing surface at a steep slant, so watercolor doings are at a simple but ample-in-size foldable tabe near the drawing table. The drawing table I purchased some 5+ years ago at Hobby Lobby (I think), after scrutinizing a lot of such tables online. The one that I have is moderately priced.
The hair is LOVELY lady-suits you so nicely! The video was WONDERFUL! I adored seeing everyone’s spaces SO MUCH! Each was equally charming and had such unique character while also having lots of similarities in terms of functionality it seems! This is the third indication I have received in the last 24 hours letting me know it’s time I do a studio tour on my own channel! Anyone interested in seeing my studio (I have only 16 subs and 4 videos😂) please feel free to come take a look. As always crushing the art creation game, Louise!!! 👍🏻🥰
Wow your hairstyle looks fabulous! Cool looking t-shirt! Those are gorgeous workspaces that each of your patrons have got. They are all very beautifully organized & gives me inspiration for many ideas for my future art studio space. Presently my space is still much smaller than any of the others shared. I hope to have a great art studio/shed later this year like yours is set up. Thanks for sharing this wonderful inspirational video with us! 🥰
So inspirational, thank you! When we moved and I had to (temporarily) give up a really functional, dedicated space for painting. But soon we'll finish renovations and I'll have a permanent location. Can't wait! I love to leave my stuff available for daily painting. Also, your new hair style is beautiful!
Helpful. In my various moves I've had small spaces and a dedicated room (miss that room!) and now my husband and I share our 'studio', my side all about art, his multiple computers for business and a piano...I have to work around his business schedule but use the dining room table as needed. It all comes down to making the best of your space and doing 'the work'! Cheers.
Louise, your new hairstyle is so very flattering, just lovely. You are brave to try new things and make changes and this one is a real winner! Missed seeing darling Leo but enjoyed the studio tours. I can't believe the inventories of paper and brushes that some of these artists have - it's almost like they have their own in-house shops! I have to be careful how much I spend and find that it actually helps me focus on priorities and learn to use what I have in different ways. One thing I did not see were any mat cutting systems or framing set-ups even though some of the spaces definitely had room. I can relate mostly to the smaller spaces for now but we can all dream. Congratulations on your graduation to a large, beautiful studio: You have earned it!
I am new to painting-took it up after my retirement. I love to look at others work space. I am currently transforming my old office into a work studio. My husband is making all of the work surfaces😊
Yes, I agree with the others. Your haircut looks amazing! It's a great fit for your facial features. Also, your presentations are always wonderful and interesting. This tour of watercolor studios, large and small, was so inspiring. I don't have a dedicated space set up yet, but I do have a little sitting area in my bedroom with a desk and an unused dresser that could probably work. It looks like to me that having things organized to meet your painting needs is more important than the amount of space when you are just starting out.
Gosh you hair Louise you look so beautiful ❤ Fantastic video. Your content is always spot on thanks x And thanks to your students for sharing their spaces!
GREAT HAIR CUT LOUISE! You look so beautiful and radiant. I have a little table in corner of fairly large bedroom along with a little 3-shelf open cabinet. There is a north facing window as well and a clamp-on light. Nothing fancy at all, but does the job. Occasionally have to go downstairs to a hobby closet to retrieve paper etc. All the spaces you showed in this video look well thought out and very workable. Thanks to your patrons for sharing their art room videos.
Love you work space and it’s awesome to see other people’s space. I have been with you for a while now and I recognise the names of you lovely people that have given us a look into their work spaces. I’m still on the kitchen table. 😊
Love your videos Louise .thanks for sharing your knowledge with us❤.please can you do a video about pricing the watercolor art and what is the price we need to start from..
This was a great video, thank you, lovely to see how other people set up. I’m privileged to have a separate space for my art recently, and still working out what works best.
Great video Louise. Really enjoyed seeing your space and the others. And of course, as always, your outtakes/bloopers are so worth staying till the very end! 🤣🤣 Great T-Shirt too! 👍
Thanks sooo much to you and your patrons for a lovely video giving me lots of ideas for my own working area. I simply ADORE your new haircut - it looks fabulous!!! I also love the T-shirt! Very clever and cute!!!
Loved seeing everyone’s spaces. I have my own art room but it seldom looks as neat as these! I use IKEA drawers for paper and supplies, built in bookshelves for palettes and other supplies, a nice large desk and a large window. I love your new hair style!
That was such a fun video! So lovely to see everyone's working space as well as your beautiful studio, Louise! The hair is EVERYTHING!!! You look fantastic ❤
I love how your fans all notice the wonderful new hair cut! Me included! Beautiful! Thank you for this sharing. I was taking screen shots to keep for future reference when I need to make a new studio set up when we move back to Canada and I lose my glorious garage apartment space. Fabulous ideas from your patrons and great idea for this UA-cam .
I’ve had to disassemble my painting room/space due to the necessary accommodations I need because of a failed surgery. To say it’s heartbreaking is an understatement. The one thing which we all can do and become totally lost in time with is currently in plastic bins stored on shelving in an unused room upstairs. My (hopefully) short term goal is to move out the furniture which I can no longer use and bring in the things I need. I’ll then rebuild my creative space there. I will need to reduce by well over half of the supplies I had and used since I can’t physically sit for the amount of time painting requires. Also my mental patience won’t let me nor will time as I’ll have to devote so much of it for therapy. All in all not where I had looked towards being at this point. I’m still a patron but haven’t accessed it in many months. All of these studios look quite nice! Kudos to each artist.
Love this video,in the summer I paint in my sun room, beautiful natural light. I live in northern Canada so in winter my sun room is freezing (-40) so I’m stuck painting in my dining room and have to clean up and put everything away so we can eat 😢 maybe someday I’ll have a dedicated art space
Loved to see your students' painting spaces. I've gone from working on a very small table to having my own studio and I'm grateful for it. You look beautiful, by the way! Greetings from Mexico.
Loving your hair Louise❣️I live in a studio apt so space is limited for sure. I am by no means so makeshift is me. I could probably use an organizer cabinet for all the mediums I am into as far as paints, embossing materials and papers. Nice to see other’s ideas for space! Thank you ladies! 🙏🏽🙋🏻♀️👍🏽Mia
The last small space was beautiful and so functional! I loved the blue and white Japanese Porcelain containers, the light and pool noodle idea. Very well done!
Wow, thank you so much for the tours of studio spaces. It gave me plenty of ideas! Everyone is so neat! My space is tiny but finally organized. I will be looking for soap dishes and palettes in thrift stores! 🖼️
A privilege to see your studio - thank you. My favourite of your subscribers spaces was Star’s. Organised but also personal with the lovely Japanese vases and clever use of the soap dishes.
I love you new hair cut! And the t-shirt. Creative space is so important. I'm clearing out yarns and looms from my time as a professional weaver so I have more room for writing and watercolor. Hubby made me a table top easel from an old loom bench he made me long ago, and I love being able to have the work at an angle so I can get more perspective on it. My mother was an art teacher and watercolorist and I use her pencil/brush organizer for mine now. It's always fun seeing other creatives' work spaces. Thanks for sharing.
I love that your painting area gets a little bit messy when you’re working. I feel better now. I’m mid decluttering teaching stuff and next up is craft stuff I haven’t touched in decades. I want a calm peaceful place to paint. Mess is really inhibiting for me.
Men ! They love long hair but they don’t realise the trouble it usually gives. This hair style is fantastic and it suits you perfectly. That’s what matters ❤
I don’t have any extra rooms to work in, so I have the small cramped corner in the living room set up, and it’s a real drag. A lot of my art supplies are in kitchen cabinets, hanging over an island near my corner. I also have a parrot so I cannot use anything that has fumes or dust. Last place I lived was much bigger and on the water, and though I still painted in my living room, it was a huge room and I was in front of a big sliding glass door looking out on the wetlands/bay, which was so nice. I also had room for a big beautiful drafting table that my ex made in high school shop class, which I still have and hope to be able to use again some day. I know I would be more productive if I had more space and was more organized.
What a helpful video. Thank you. I’ve just moved into a new house where I have a small dedicated space for my art. I’m searching for ideas on how to set it up that will work now and in the future. This is the best art studio tour video that I’ve seen so far and I’ve looked at a lot.
Louise, I appreciate you showing yours and others work spaces. Wondering if you could do a tutorial on various types of artificial lighting lamps? Which are the best? Thanks for your expertise. Kind regards, Cindy
What a neat video! Until I clean and organize my spare room I paint on my large dining table with drop cloths on top. All you need is a flat surface and a few containers really. But I can’t wait to create my own studio. How lovely that would be.
All of the art spaces are so lovely, Louise, and I see some items I would like to get for my workspace lol 😀. Thank you for showing us these studio spaces. Also, Your new hairstyle is beautiful and really suits you…I love it! 🙌🏻💕.
Lovely haircut 👌 and thanks for sharing soo much of your personal space. I've an office room that doubles as a studio, not ideal but 🤷♂️ good for now.

Thank you Mary. That sounds like the perfect place to paint.
I don't have a lot of space in our apartment but I see that a dedicated space with some organization would be very helpful. Thanks for this.
They are beautiful, very organized work spaces. Love the new hair style and clever t-shirt.

What a helpful video. Thank you. I’ve just moved into a new house where I have a small dedicated space for my art. I’m searching for ideas on how to set it up that will work now and in the future. This is the best art studio tour video that I’ve seen so far and I’ve looked at a lot.
