Thank you so much Laurelin for showing me how to create this beautiful blanket but also for explaining how to get the lovely straight edge. I’ve been knitting for 60+ years and didn’t know this method.
A nother beautiful pattern I just finished my Harvey blanket lm going to start on my Emma blanket l so love all your blankets thank you so much Heidi brooks
I am new to your channel. Very very pretty design and pattern.. I love how you knit as well as the demonstration, Do you happen to do entrelac knitting? you give good explanations and wondering do you also do entrelac knitting?
Lovely! Thanks so much for posting. I’m trying to knit continental more often and knit is easy for me but haven’t been able to continental purl easily but your continental purling looks easier than anything I’ve seen on youtube. Could you do a slow motion video for the continental purl?
The method I use to purl is actually slightly different to continental and called the Norwegian purl. I have a separate video that covers just technique in my “knitting basics” playlist 😀
I really enjoy all your patterns for baby blankets. Do you ever use sport weight cotton for blankets? I was given some beautiful cotton yarn and thought about using it, what do you think?
I like to knit with dk yarn (light worsted / 3 weight) but you could definitely knit something like this blanket in sport weight - you’d just need to cast on more stitches to accommodate the thinner yarn. 😀🧶

Another beautiful blanket. I wonder how a variegated yarn would look.
I use solid yarn because it photographs well, but I think variegated would look lovely too!

Not really, I don’t enjoy knitting with it but that shouldn’t stop you from knitting with it if it’s a fibre you like 😀
