I should try this! I've done this type of blanket with crochet but never knit. I have a full set of knitting needles I've never used (I'm not a knitter yet lol)
Very beautiful! Thanks for sharing 👍
🥰🥰
I re ally appreciate your video work showing exactly how to pick up stitches. Some people might find it helpful to use a crochet hook to pick up stitches. Even though I do not crochet I can use a hook to help with that.
That’s a really great tip! 🥰🥰
Very beautiful love it ❤thank you so much for sharing 😊

Great and easy stash buster, thank you!
You’re welcome! Happy knitting!
Busy on a mitred square blanket, so the log cabin pattern blanket is next on the agenda - or maybe I might just start it now! Thanks for your continued inspiration.
🥰🥰
Hello! I'm from Argentina and i want to tell you that it's so beautiful your tissue. 😊😊
👏👏👏
Nice edges how did end the last stitch of the 20 stitches. Thanks
Love your videos. I'm struggling to get the right number of ridges I keep ending up with 31 and 11 after I've done the can't off. Do you count the single ridge under the stitches on the needle as a full ridge?
No I don’t ☺️
thank you, love this modern log cabin pattern. how can i estimate how much yarn i will need in each color?
I honestly don’t know, I just started knitting with full balls and carried on until I had a blanket the size I wanted
Absolutely love this blanket and would like to make it for my beautiful new granddaughter Could you let me know how many balls it took to make. Thank you for the time you take to make these videos.
I used less than a ball of each of the colours and used 2 balls of cream if I remember correctly
@@SnufflebeanYarn Thank you so much for such a speedy reply. I have yarn in my stash that will be perfect for this can't wait to get started.
Hi hope you OK and what yarn and size knitting needles you use
I used dk yarn and 4mm knitting needles.
Trying this pattern. Is the first block 30 rows or 60 rows?
60 rows but I don’t count rows I count the garter ridges as I find it easier to keep track of 🙂
How much yatn should I buy for about 50x 60 inch blanket
I honestly couldn’t say as it depends on many factors
Do you have a pattern for this blanket if so please tell me we're to go to get it

What size knitting needle again?
It depends on the yarn but I used dk yarn and 4mm needles 🙂
Thank you for the teaching and sharing. That was a beautiful blanket. Thank so much 🙏🙏😊
30 g r is 60 rows
Yep
Il faut des aiguilles circulaires ou pas metci
Yes - circular needles work best as the blanket grows so you need the space to accommodate the stitches 😀🧶
Not to sound too dumb but 10 garter ridges would be 20 rows??
Yes :)
