- Right after I released the Legendary Khvostov Guide, Bungie dropped the Exotic version on us. This thing is amazing and 100% worth the time and inconsistency to get.

The grind is weird, the boss tracking in Triumphs is buggy. Once you have the Legendary version, if you've already got all of the Motes - I've heard reports of the chest not opening, so watch out for that.

For the first Vision pickup, the location is actually wrong - had to double check with a friend. The real pickup is in the lost city area, just in the open area after the drop from Micah's room. It's off to the right and down the back.
Bungie has confirmed that the Servitor Boss is NO LONGER disabled.
Keeping this note here for posterity's sake.
"To address issues obtaining the Khvostov 7G-0X exotic, we have removed the Taken Servitor boss from The Blooming's Overthrow rotation.
A fix to address players currently blocked from obtaining Khvostov will be deployed in a future update."
Servitor Boss is disabled, i hope i can save some people wasted time
I started at 10 yesterday and went for about 8 or so hours until I checked bungies twitter. I thought I was going crazy

Unfortunately the boss took my motes before they disabled it as far as I know there’s no way to get them back least I’ve tryed 3 hours worth of overthrow and didn’t get any motes to drop or back I had 16 motes until that boss took my motes after beating it now I have none and haven’t found a way to get my motes back

I’m stuck at 16 motes of lights and am only missing 1 but I have killed every Boss and gotten all collectable anyone know what I’m missing?
Probably try farming the Blooming bosses, multiple people have said that it takes a few kills of the Chimera (Servitor) - myself included.
FYI, the Servitor Boss has been removed from the rotation by Bungie due to a glitch wiping motes from the inventory without giving the primordial mote @CasualGamerYT

so when you complete alone in the dark quest an get legendary version of this weapon then you can do second part were you need to do all steps in the video
Exactly, grab all of the encrypted bits from the secrets in the Alone in the Dark questline and the ones from the region chests. Then you can do the motes for the Exotic.

Hey man, did it take you a couple off tries to get the mote to spwan for the servitor?
Yeah, the Chimera took me a few tries - took my friend 6 to get it.

Why do we need to get the legendary version of the khvostov can we just find the traveler vision and the MOTES

The legendary version is required as far as I know, the chest will just say "You lack something" if you don't have it.

The mote of primordial light dont drop i do all the boss all the quest and nothing drop
Servitor boss is disabled at the moment, quest is disabled as a result.
How do i get to that room so i can claim my exotic auto rifle? Lol (aka ol'e reliable)
From spawning in at "The Lost City" point, go left and through the hallways until you come out to the open area. The Speaker's room is just there.

@CasualGamerYT thank you I got screwed on the meat ball it never dropped the light mote and they disabled that boss till they can fix it so I'm soft locked rn thanks for the guid though
does bungie know about giltch that does not let you unlock prismatic
They do, no confirmed fix yet - a few people have tried restarting the first mission from the pale heart menu.

It's 50/50, seen a few reports of it working.
