Still after about two year driving this car, I still love it and often look back when walking away and think, what an awesome design. Ok the back side does't match quite as good as the side silouette and espacially the front view. Inside its nice as well, apart from the lower door storages. Material and surface look a bit cheap, to much passat. It should be alcantara or someting similar aswell. I have the 190 bhp diesel engine. Enough power and nevertheless quite economically. DSG Gearbox is ok, but not perfect. Sometimes the way it changes gears. Should be adjustable like the indiviudal driving modes. Anyway this is not just an Arteon thing, but VW. A little complicate to describe in a sentence. Anyway, the most beautiful car I ever owned.
Hello, so how much did the 241HP engine consumed in fuel? I am wondering between the 190HP and 240HP diesel and can't decide... I am not looking for a sport car, all I want is economics and when I press the gas pedal the car to shoot forward so I can pass the other cars fast
The difference between the 150 and 190HP engines is much smaller than between 190 and 240. The 240HP will have around 8L/100Km, partly due to having more fun on full throttle.
My thoughts: 150 is for economy, 190 is for balance of economy and good power, the 240 is just plain fun. 190 will move you just fine but the 240 has that serious punch you will miss if you drive them both. It is hungrier, though.
Next week i get exactly this car. I can't wait.
