- G'day Guys, in this video I show you a different way to prepare a lamb forquarter roast. This is a good way to get plenty of flavour through the meat and also makes it easy when it comes to serving. Give it a go and I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching👍
Absolutely sensational 🤟
Thanks mate, this one goes alright👌👍
Will give this a go for sure
You won't be sorry👍
What a legend ! That’s the best and easiest way I have ever seen to roast lamb, no fuss just one ingredient ( not the whole pantry of herbs and spices) and go for it .
👍
Thanks mate, simpler the better👍
You make it look easy Benny. Looked lovely mate. 👍
Thanks mate👍
Brilliant ❤. Brilliant. We love it and are going to copy it. Thank you once again.
Thankyou, definitely give it a go👌👍
Looks absolutely beautiful 😢.
It tasted just how it looked👍
Excellent idea Benny 👍gonna have to try this one 👍
Thanks mate, yeah give it a go👍
Now that's no nonsense butchery! Great video ... and I bet it tasted spot on!
Thanks mate, yeah it was good tucker👌👍
Absolutely fantastic. I have one of those upright gas smokers, normally use it for cold smoking bacon, veg and cheese. By using for slow roasting like you have done, it frees up the oven for any veg and sides!
Thanks mate, yeah they're a good thing and like you say it frees up the oven inside for veg.👍
Oh man that looks awesome make me hungry just watching lol cheers
Haha, it was awesome. Cheers mate👍
Never thought about that! Turns out beautiful. Great idea mate.
Thanks mate. It's good for something different and a good way to use BBQ chop through winter.👍
Absolutely. And the marinate goes to all the meat. Thanks Benny.
Beautiful yummy
It was👌👍
Aw yummo. I'd travel far and wide for a piece of that.
Thanks, it good👍
Looks bloody good, Benny! Can't believe you didn't taste it on video!
Thanks mate, had a piece in my hand to. Ate it straight after the camera stopped😂. 👍
Great vid i do my own lambs and always looking for different ways to cook . Great job mate
Cheers mate, good to mix it up sometimes 👍
That looks bloody beautiful mate
Thanks mate, it was👍
I had a forequarter roast the other day it seemed sweeter than a leg roast. Ive been buying a lot of legs of lamb $12.90 a kilo in New Zealand, poor farmers
The meat on the forequarter is definitely I nicer and more tender meat if it's cooked right. Lamb isn't a cheap feed anymore. 👍
This is good stuff. As someone who grew up on lamb and hogget, I'm giving that a go! Also, you could try, once cooked at 140, whack it in a camp over, no heat on the base, but a nice amount on top to get the fat layer nice and crispy.
It was good gear, definitely worth a go. The top was fairly crispy, but wouldn't hurt to crisp it up a bit more👌👍
❤️❤️❤️
Cheers👍
Bloody brilliant!!
Cheers 👍
Knocking over a two tooth tomorrow, might have a go at this, it looked bloody good.
That'd be awesome with two tooth, I would give it 4.5 hours at 150 degrees celsius it it would be 👌. 👍
ChurrYumm…OneLove💚
Cheers👍
Nice lamb 🐑
Thanks mate, one of the last ones from last year's drop👍
You have the best lambs I've seen in a long time

Haha, tastes even better than it looks👌👍

Can't be the camp oven👌👍
Hey mate love all your vids. Where do you buy your knife holder and chain belt etc? What brand. Cheers
Thanks mate. I got this one from HighGate in Melbourne. Not sure it had an actual brand, just jump on there website and check them out on there. Cheers 👍
@@butcherbennytee1983 thanks mate. Looks a good site. Where in Oz are you?
legend. can I do this with a drop saw?
Not sure how a drop saw would go!🤔. If you do try it, just be bloody careful 👍
I really do want a bone saw. It just makes everything so nice looking.
How long do you hang your Lambs?
Jim in Chile
G'day Jim, bandsaw definitely makes the job cleaner and easier especially on bbq chops. I usually hang lambs for 7-10 days, this one was 7 days. Cheers👍
Mate I love ya work. What was the rub you used and can you get it from master butchers.
Thanks mate, yep Master Butchers have this glaze. This one was a Flavour Makers brand, any of they're flavours are good. Cheers👍
where do you get the dry rub marinade
I get mine from a local butchers supplier near home. You can find it all online as well, this one was Flavour Makers brand.
