This is adding $6,000 to the total before tax, title, tags and about $1,000 in additional bullshit dealer fees. We got ours for 35k/1k down out the door after working them down for about 2 hours.
I have the same car, same color 2022. Not much change. I love it. A fabulous car with almost all the bells and whistles and more than you will use. Sun roof and front wheel drive. Next time show them the secret key lock hidden in the drivers door and how to use the key fob to start the car if the fob battery is dead.And the touch open gas cap cover. The only issue I have is getting in and out. I retract the drivers seat to make more room when I leave. This also gives a little more room when getting in. Too many other features to list.

And either way they are by no means forced to jack up prices beyond sticker, even at sticker they’re making thousands extra per car so even with a reduced volume they’re making way more money before they “have” to mark up
When the economy was slowed down, how did dealerships survive? They along with many other are making up for lost revenues. Just a reality. You don’t have to accept it or participate in buying a new vehicle.

Just bought one for 36K and im in Uzbekistan, we have few awesome futures in GT line vs US models. I have full digital cluster and back up sensors and we have no turbo engines available, most models have 2.0 naturally aspired engines and when you buy GT line it only comes in 2.5 naturally aspired engine. Also cameras everywhere, i noticed US model have no camera on the front grill, our versions all have front grill and mirror and trunk cameras also blind spot indicators mandatory in our versions and also our versions have white daylight running lights vs US amber lights. Could be because our cars gets here directly from Korea. However awesome cars.

I'd appreciate if you could test out front and rear seat heights to the ground (outside) during your reviews (i.e. how hard/easy is it to get in and out of the car, for both the front and rear seats?). As you know, the population is aging -- and for transportation companies, ease of ingress and egress is an important purchasing decision. It's also a consideration for taller people as well. This is something few car reviews on UA-cam ever cover and it would be nice if you could start doing this. Cheers!
I was looking into the K5's but with some folks having problems with engines that I saw on forums then I got ahold of a new off the truck Honda Civic SI for MSRP.
Great choice. Honda is the better brand. Quality is better. Just because a car offers a lot of tech and power at a cheaper price point does not mean it is a great idea. I feel like the Kia brand is an illusion. If you get my drift. I bet you feel way more confident in that new SI. Congrats. The SI is a super nice car. Enjoy it.
@@Rip84LW guess your unaware of the serious issues the 1.5 L turbo has. It likes to blow head gaskets, most often between 50 and 70.000 miles. Weak headbolts eventually start stretching out of the block. Warranty of course has expired. Look it up.

Test drove the awd gt line nice car unfortunately that little 1.6 turbo sucks getting up to speed on highway interstates and really have to floor it to pass up other cars. I decided to test out the GT and oh my lord was I impressed. Night and day difference with the 2.5 turbo and you get cooled seats. The only downside is no awd available if you go GT 2.5 turbo but you really don't need it with it being front wheel drive unless you like flooring it but then again it's not a race car but man on the highway this thing is a missle.
I got my wife a 2018 accord touring edition with the 2.0T car was amazing raced a few R/T chargers with the 5.7 and it keeps up with them till you top out at 125 ended up getting rid of it because my wife’s use to driving trucks and kept smacking the front bumper.
Don’t ever buy a Mazda…bad choice. My whole family has Kias and have super reliable….so that led me to get a Sorento ….super reliable and performs well, love the extras especially the extra long moon roof, heated cooled seats etc…..and for once never stuck or spun in snow and ice..not once!
Is it 15 yr reliable though? Thats what I'm after. My wifes 2007 Accord is still going strong. I replaced the alternator and radiator this year. I considered one of these on my car hunt and went with a 2024 Camry SE.
I had the same question as well. I did extensive research into this car. It seems as though it will be reliable. Since it is a Turbo engine plus GDI, you will need to be on top of maintenance. Clean up the carbon that builds up, and I can see this car lasting as long as a Toyota. Do your own research into the engine, transmission, and various other parts. I've personally concluded that this is in my top 3 cars to buy this year.

This and the Sonota are overrated. They’re pushed by the media as the best your money can buy, but are far from it. The dealers believe the hype and mark them up far and beyond what the bargain is supposed to be and they do not sell as well as they could because of it.

What Camry? Lower trim ? All the features on this Kia for 30k, if you get that on Toyota you will spend close to 40k which is xse . I have own both of this car . That 30k can only give you SE which don’t have heated seat, heated steering wheel , panoramic roof , wireless charging. This Kia have all that and it not even the higher trim

I test drove this car and I remember before that I felt really good about it. Once youre in it though everything just feels so cheaply made and plastic.
And it doesn’t feel cheap trust me… I own the Ebony Black GT with the GT1 package and the Chestnut brown interior. It looks, feels, and drives like a $50k+ sports sedan. I get compliments on it constantly and people can’t believe it stickers for just over $37k

Canada's versions have a digital cluster gauge. It's unfortunate that the US version has the analog.

Pretty sure you can easily fix that yourself by adjusting the springs the trunk is connected to

Looks good but I hate the idea of a 1.6L 4 cylinder tubo. At least have an option for a more powerful 2L turbo.

The Civic Si is not a midsize sedan… k5 competes against the Accord, which is a nice value as well with their hybrid model getting around 46mpg.

I think it is around 3,000, I may be mistaken. But I would go with the gf because you are getting at 2.5 T with nearly 300 hp.
