Hey guys you should create a boaters game of curling on the ice
That would be so fun to watch if you could find something to push along the ice and polish the ice with a broom.

I know that whole area very well. Born and grew up there. Learned to swim in the swimming baths, a boomed off part of the river on the Berks side. Swam across to the Seacadet base from the Prom. Played in their band. Played drums in that bandstand. Faffed about in Hobbs boats. Good days long gone.
For sore throat I take lemon, honey and vodka.

Good to see the water has receded, hopefully it will stay that way. ...I'm not a fan of roundabouts either, I avoid them as much as possible. Thanks for the video and have a splendid week.

I'm glad to see the river back down and your boat moored up as it should be! And that water things looks like an amazing hassle, though you seem to take the situation with a good attitude! (Why on earth would they change the water fitting to one that doesn't work like the old ones?????). Thanks for your vlogs and sharing your life with us!

Just catching up on all your episodes. Floods are quite scary, and living on a boat ekkk. I live in Australia and was affected by the 2019 new years eve fires. These kind of things make us heightened to watch is going on outside. But the regrowth back....so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your lives.❤

Hi Marina, Myles. Another excellent Vlog. Great to see Mother nature at work. I'm really pleased the water levels have dropped, and finally all the Ice has gone. Do you keep your spare mobile water tank in a bow cupboard. I remember it from last year, its rather large to store. Have a great week. Take Care

Your video makes me appreciate things I take for granted while living in my cosy house with unlimited water and mains gas and electricity. Life onboard looks fun but hard work-especially in winter, but when Spring come round things will get easier and I will feel envious of your life onboard living next to nature. Thanks for another fabulous vlog. X

Beautiful, loved the video. Praying your technology problems will be rectified soon for your sake and sanity. Computers are great when they work, but crap when they go down. 😢 BTW: Love your red wellies! 👠 And the striped headband. I just had a thought ~ do you think the music might have a bug in them ~ My husband Mike said they sometimes add a bot to their music. Mike was in tech support for over 38yrs for a newspaper. Anyway, fingers crossed that the world will right itself soon.

I enjoyed your videos and listen to your descriptions. I purached, an American version, JACKETY 1500 x 2 generator! Very nice unit. Great on my camping trips. It even powered my buddy’s fridge/freezer. He was impressed. U fortunately not enough to buy his own. See if I bring mine on our next outing. NOT!😝

Hi M&M, nice one guys. You get the feeling from the boating community, that "little things". like filling up the water, and getting in your coal and diesel, are major wins and give you a different perspective on life. Take care of yourselves. 😃xx

The last few videos have been so exciting and so interesting with the floods and while you’ve been through that freezing, wet weather we’ve been through a terrible heat wave. Isn’t the sound of ice breaking under your feet scary but fun at the same time. Thanks heaps guys that was a lovely video. Stay warm and safe and see you next week. 💕

Yeah, they went nowhere but the videos were still very compelling to watch. I have not watched other Narrowboat videos that covered the flooding this well. It is way more interesting than you would at first think it would be.
