@@AmsNl2BcnEs FoxesAfloat bought a farm. CruisingtheCut left than switch to Van camping. Now has a smaller boat. The couple that had the boat restaurant quit too. Probably some others. There was a lot more boat channels.
Feeing selfishly sad you are moving off Alba and on to a different life. I very much enjoyed your recording of the seasons and the joyful appreciation of nature. In addition, the earnest sweetness of Marina’s management of boat life and her narration of your adventures and day-to-day was a welcome point of calm in a frantic world. During the lock downs I started watching Van-Life, Narrowboat and Sailing videos, not sure why I'll never do any of these things. After the lockdowns lifted three of the five Van life channels (I follow) all bought homes/land and became renovation/offgrid living channels, now were loosing the narrowboaters as well.
This hasnt come as a shock.. given the slowing down of content.. i will really miss your channel ... your videos have always been enjoyable, and I've loved following you on this journey .. sad its come to an end... wishing you happiness in whatever is next for you guys... would have loved to hear what that looks like...

It all started during covid. I found UA-cam and selected canal boaters, golfers, urban explorers and electric car channels. I am now on my second EV and will not go back. One thing that would put me off canal boats would be the noise and smell of a diesel engine. However the lifestyle of living off grid has been made very appealing especially when presented by you two beautiful people. I am certain that either of you would do very well in television should you choose. Good luck for the future, you deserve it, and thank you very much.❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

İt's been lovely to live vicariously through your life on Alba but all good things come to an end. İ am sure you will now enjoy a proper flushing loo, plentiful water and hot baths , perhaps with sailing adventures on the open water, not limited by the canal system. Best wishes x
