Great compilation of memories. You guys made the right choice to move off the river as these recent floods were crazy. Pangbourne was flooded all the way up to the campsite, Sonning in the bridge scene was the worst with two boats coming off their pins and floating down to Shiplake. Windsors Baths island, where we are moored up, was completely swallowed up and didn't have any dry land until 4 days after it started flooding. Think pretty much every lock/weir maxed out and went over it's highest levels recorded.
You are heroes!! Not the easy life that you were looking for perhaps. Good luck on the HIGH seas with the narrow boat!! Break out the lifejackets!! John
Nothing has changed from last January to this January, lots of rain this January too, we’re reading about the floods here in Australia. There must be so many drones in the water of those canals, expensive loss. Great to look back guys. Take it easy and stay safe. 💕
Just to let you know a trick of the trade, use a bean tin or other suitably size tin over the top of the post, it stops the post splitting when you drive it with a mallet
Hi guys nice to see some highlights from last year 😊 u soon forget what went on, but u both had some eventful times and lets hope 2024 is full of memories too. 👍
Hello! I wonder if it is possible to sail on your canals with an ordinary motor sailing vessel with the dimensions: Length: 9 meters, width: 3.05 meters, depth: 1.2 meters and height from the waterline: 3 meters? Thank you for the clip! / Tony
I can probably rescue your drone.. :) as i have under water drones that do this stuff, just give me gps location of last known contact.. :) Also always keep your tender as one day it might save your life and laptop if main boat sinks,... xx love you guys and good luck..
Also you don't live on a boat, you live on a luxury fitted out barge lol... I have lived on a 22 foot cruiser for 5 years , that is hard.. you have no idea of how hard boat life can be lol.. and your video don't really teach people on how to live on a boat, they are just video memories of what you do.. It would be nice to see some practical stuff of what you do and how you get through days on the boat.. watching dogs and travelling under bridges is very nice but not really what people want to see,.. they want the grind and the challenges and to teach them how it is on a boat.. xxx

Canalboats are not suitable for rivers , you should not be on a river
