Interesting. Although I like the style improvements on the 2016 and the 0-60 is 6.7 vs over 7 for the 2015s, the last gen one was a really awesome car as well! I was really impressed with this car and am going to miss it.
On the Turbos, they use 6 speed auto, vs their 7 speed dual clutch setup, so I hope the next gen one may switch to the other transmission. Time will tell :)
Bought this car over a year ago used. Still as happy with it now as the day I bought. Kias are awesome!

There was! But somehow it didn't hurt speed, so my assumption was a transmission retune and/or fatter power band.
