@@murilloman9130 Anyone who compares Hillary Hahn to Oistrakh does not know what they are talking about. And besides Julia Fischer and Janine Jansen are more powerful and musical violinists that Hillary Hahn.
Perhaps. He is great, that's true. The absolute Queen though is Ginette Neveu, who died in 1949 at 30 (in a plane crash). For me, she is the number #1, undisputed. Oistrakh could be the number #2, I have no objections. That was their ranking in the Wieniaski competition in 1935.
@@orionmckenzie3009 Indeed. I wouldn't be able to decide who is "better": Hilary Hahn (not Hillary) or Julia Fischer. They are both wonderful. Janine Jansen is great too, for me a tad less than HH and JF.
This is an interesting interpretation. The first movement is close to that offered by Igor Oistrakh in the Deutschgrammaphone recording. I prefer this to his later recordings. This comes as a kind of epiphany to me.
I would actually argue that it's the other way around. Oistrakh has a deeper understanding and appreciation for the music than Heifetz, even if Heifetz is more technically proficient.
hahaha. Shows how much you know about the violin, Mr. Wiennertrash. This is a relatively easy concerto. Actually, methinks you are just a classical troll trying to get a rise.
What are you talking about ? 😳 violonists of this caliber don’t even struggle anymore, they are on another level, and also what’s the point to compare juste to compare
David Oistrakh, King of Violinists, and this wonderful conductor and orchestra: Divine, otherwordly magic!!!!!
best violinist, best orchestra, best symphony
Concerto
Magnificant violist and performance! Sublime!
The Orchestral crescendo is surprisingly clear for a recording of this age.
O concerto é lindíssimo e a Interpretação maravilhosa do grande David Oitrakh.
It is incredible how David Oistrakh is passing the bow over the strings to get that amazing sound!

@George Dakota instablaster =)
Great performance!
2nd movement starts at 8:40
Gratitud eterna.
Oistrachk is the king of violinists

kelamuni what are you talking about
@@kelamuni you're comparing green grapes to purple grapes, yes they're different but they are still grapes amd they are still good

It' s amazing 👏 👏 👏
I was pleasantly surprised by the music.
Un Genio!
Easy to understand why Oistrach said he did not like to hear his earlier recordings, afraid to make less well.
Bruch violin concerto always so sad .......
1:29 is where it gets good
David Oistrakh did not record this concerto with LSO/Lovro von Matacic before 1950. He made this recording either 1956 or 1954, not so sure.
nej nej nej nej
Hold dig vaek, Narroev, og dine dum snot bemaerkninger,, tag til Rusland,, saa faar du nok bank , uden penge, du uden forstand, du, H.
lol banger

Nikanor Soter hier spielt aber David.

Vielen Dank! Dann passt es ja! 😊
He’s struggling, unlike heifetz.
That is so sacrilegious

For fuck's sake, it's an incredible performance, no one is struggling, you don't have a clue of what you're even saying.
