Has anyone ever noticed how ark content creators all pronounce everything completely differently from eachother and still manage to pronounce everything wrong?😂
dung beetle being that low is CRIMINAL, it is one of the MOST useful tames. Fertilizer production is basically automated, and they auto pick up poop in the area. They are SUPER useful for growing crops and you'll never run out of fertilizer which directly impacts kibble production. The compost bin only has a few slots and it takes SOOO LONG to make fertilizer. A dung beetle is always a must have for kibble and any other recipes.
You forgot a very important thing, at least on ASA they do a ton of oil automatically. Like all you need to do is have them collect poop and then empty the fertilizer at times to keep it churning out oil.
I remember how painful it was taming one, like I knew the tame was going to be bad, but not that bad and not nearly as tedious as it was. It was legit easier to tame giga.
I havent played Ark in recent years, but I heard that the Titanboa requires fertilized eggs and I wonder, does the snake in a way become a sort of narcotic producer?
@Tucher97 no, it's a pretty useless tame by any comparison. But yes you need fertilized eggs to tame them and they won't get any progress if they are aggroed. So you need to drop the eggs (from your inventory and not dino's) and remain a decent distance away from it as they have a wide aggro range and will spot you easily. Aside from being slightly better than a dilo, it's worthless as a tame and it's torpor is terrible. You're better off with a troodon and even they suck.
Yeah I have 1 dung beetle and it's insane. oil every day. Literally puts fertiliser in everyone of my 15 or so large plots with like 50 to spare lol. It's gotta be insane on a early PvP bases with plantspecies X turrets. But even just on my nitrado server this one beetle does work at supplying my base with everything I need gasoline/farm wise
@andrewjessop6054 he actually has a point. PVE they are better, honestly they are some of the best tames. No one will ever tell you how annoying narcotics are to make, having 6-8 large plots fixes that. Fert is god tier
Kairuku can be good for a polymer farm right at your base. Just tame a male and female for breeding. You'll want to keep your breeding pair of course, but any more you get from them can "become" organic polymer.
Enjoying watching this so far. Megaloceros is way too low - they are fast, have great stamina and that awesome jump, can deal reasonable damage with the antlers and do that adorable ear wiggle.
I'd put the carno higher since it fits in practically all caves on the Island at least despite not looking like it. Carnos even fit in the hard snow cave on ASA, so if you don't want to (or can't) build the infra to cheese the entrance size with cryos you can just run in with carnos. In ASE they were arguably slightly less useful due to different entrance sizes and the fact you could just do any cave with a thyla with some cryo-abuse.
My man, I think you undersold the Pyromane by a LOT!!! This thing is great against bosses, caves and naturally has more carrying capacity than any shoulder pet. Combo that with the 50% weight reduction as a shoulder pet and you have the best backpack in Ark. Fun fact, if you’re on PC and press the R key, you can gain access to a wheel that allows you to toggle the pyromane’s special ability, change the pyromane to it’s lion form and can access its inventory. I cannot tell you how handy that has been for me. I can have a pyromane chilling on my shoulder while meat running on my Carchar and transfer meat from the Carchar’s inventory to my pyromane’s without ever dismounting. Not to mention, it cooks some of meat before you make it back to your base. Personally, I never go anywhere without a pyromane on my shoulder. Meat runs, cave runs, resource harvesting or map hopping. I always have one with me.

I see this like walking around with your fly down. I'd want someone to tell me. So I do mean this in the most respectful way possible.
Idk where he is wrong but as a German Chai Tin makes more sense then Ki Tn because of how we pronounce the letters ch if they are combined but he doesnt sound german.
i think the basalisk is deffinitaly underated, a reletively unused feture of it is knocking out big creatures like rexes, it does roughly 3 times more torpor then damage per attack and you can really levell it to do alot of damage and therefore torpor
Allos are most definitely good for boss fights. I literally used the same line up for almost every boss, and have never had issues. 10-13 Allos, 4 or 5 healy pigs, and then personal mounts
@NicholasSims-dv1ln they're good, but they are infinitely harder to tame than a rex. Allos have insane torpor vs a rex, so it's generally easier to skip them and go for stronger tames in order to kill bosses. I agree with you, I like allos, but they are harder to get without proper traps.
@Dralisz that's true and definitely works, but with a rex you could literally just use bear traps made in the smithy. Stone gates are a lot more expensive. Not to mention the amount of tranqs you'll use comparatively.
No way he ranked the gigantopithecus that low. You can literally put ascended flak helmet on them, then proceed to annihilate every single Dino in the game. The thing is an absolute powerhouse.nd is honestly the best body guard Dino in the game.
@Zesmas to be fair, most of all species can annihilate everything else if you've given them a few levels. Ascended armors are expensive and you can pretty much kill everything aside from a giga with a leveled up raptor
Imo a tier list for this would be better as a LOT of the creatures fall into a few categories: Niche, resource gathering, resource holding, taming aid, transportation, early/mid/late game tanks/dps, mobile bases, quality of life Imo the best creatures fall into multiple categories at once or excel at a single category… Imo it means certain creatures (like the onyx) are just F tier no matter what but others like the dung beetle will always have some use simply cus their resource/quality of life use is pretty goated (and thus can’t rly be ranked as it’s just how valuable their assets are to certain players styles)
Ima stop you at 30:54 so through selective breeding for certain stats the Allo is amazing for some of the bosses. I did all three boss levels on Rag with my Allos and it was honestly a quick and easy display on their part. That bleed attack combined with the Yuty roar made them sooooo OP.

Cool fish fact for how abundant the coelacanths are in ark they’re sadly critically endangered irl Also their meat is borderline inedible with all the oil and urea in them
Carchar heals extremely fast walks extremely fast and it also loses stamina a lot less than giga. When ramped up it deals almost 40% more dmg than the giga. This list had a lot of things that made no sense honestly but this one kind of ended up being funny. The giga has no bleed attack either anymore so yeah.
I will say that leopluridon is super useful because it is the literal only reason that I was able to find an ascended saddle for the therazino blueprint
It does not increase loot crate quality, actually. It just re-rolls what was in the crate. This has been tested. So basically its use is just for your tribe mate to check a crate, take whatever they want but not everyrhting, and then you approach it with Lipleuridon buff to reroll the loot and you grab the rest of it.

Spino is only useful in abbertion compared to the other maps. Karkinos only handy for poly farming. So in someway the void is going to be your main explorer and main tame since we all have to travel servers to get the best farm spot to transfer to main server.
Especially on the island I would regard it as the best creature for killing purposes. It outclasses rexes and Spinos in damage, and doesn't require pack boost like allosaurs, it also can traverse sea really well and take down ALL threats in the oceans. It can run tougher caves insanely well, and it's better than Gigas and Carchas because it's much more compact. I have a super mutated line on the island rn and I don't have a use for any other stronger land tames. I think they're a top 20 creature easily

The only pve use i ever found for a tame piranha was to leave em on aggressive in packs in lakes where beaver dams were spawning. (ASE) As you approached the lake and it came out of stasis the dams would pop along with the beavers and the fish would kill them all by the time I arrived to loot. They can escort a shark too, but youd rather just have more sharks They have some pvp niches too for the right base spot
The fish and the trilobite are more useful with the better dinos mod on ASE. Then they "farm" rare things for you. Trilobites do oil and silica pearls. The fish do leech blood, biotoxin, sap, steel arrows, ambergris, Sulfur, charcoal, arrows I think, I haven't played ASE for about 6 months now.
How do we still not have aquariums or fish farms in this game fr it would make people fish more use the fish traps more and it would be such a great decoration

Wait, you can't put a saddle on the Purlovia? I always thought you could ride it, mind you, its never one of those animals that I considered taming, however I think the reason for it lacking a saddle is simply put, put a saddle on it, have it barrow with you, it would detract from the Basilisk..
Otter plus pachyrino get you black pearls without ocean. Stamina nuke is pretty good too. Not being harassed by all the small annoying crap is again pretty good.
I think argy is #1 for sure, Wyverns are OK but their weight is just objectively worse and flyers are best for transport... You don't need a flying rex, you already have that kind of firepower.. it's called a rex.
Some unfathomably strange takes, mispronunciations (chitin...), missing important pieces of information, and undervaluing the oviraptor to an astounding degree. Also, it's just weird to have all creatures from ASE and ASA in a single tier list, considering some (oviraptor....) have received MASSIVE buffs, and many of the ASE tames aren't even in ASA, nor are they guaranteed to be. I was scratching my head this entire video. Still fun, but man, I'm surprised how little research you did before publishing this. Also, it was never clearly established how you are ranking the creatures, so the entire list just feels subjective. Regardless, glad you made this and it was an entertaining listen.
Sorry but theri should be at least top 3, Bro this thing harvest all kind of stuff except stony materials And really one of strongest if not the strongest boss fighter in the game pair them with one yuti and you will delete every boss in the entire game.

Agree with most but Bronto is by far not the best berry gattering Dino. Stego is BY FAR 10.000x Times better 😅 actually no creature in the entire game can even beat it nearly there
For me often the dodo is the best as often I just have upgrade stats be like movement speed per level 99999999999999 so with how quick I can get them and create a army it is just messing around
I have tried every creature for days (I'm not kidding) in fact today it still doesn't go beyond aberration, not because I play badly but because I take the time to try the game experience as completely as possible, so I have always liked to play at least on local host. If you're an achievement hunter, there is that achievement for taming all tamable creatures.

try mutated bred dimorphs they are brutal in big group

I like trodon for house guarding, it can also scout other creatures and players in the area, higher you take scouting the further it can spot.

I believe the crystal wyverns breath attack ignores armor, pretty dangerous when you up it's attack
Snow owl also gives Snow Owl Pellet, which is very good both as fertilizer and for Gachas!!

Otter plus pachyrino get you black pearls without ocean. Stamina nuke is pretty good too. Not being harassed by all the small annoying crap is again pretty good.

I think argy is #1 for sure, Wyverns are OK but their weight is just objectively worse and flyers are best for transport... You don't need a flying rex, you already have that kind of firepower.. it's called a rex.

Some unfathomably strange takes, mispronunciations (chitin...), missing important pieces of information, and undervaluing the oviraptor to an astounding degree. Also, it's just weird to have all creatures from ASE and ASA in a single tier list, considering some (oviraptor....) have received MASSIVE buffs, and many of the ASE tames aren't even in ASA, nor are they guaranteed to be. I was scratching my head this entire video. Still fun, but man, I'm surprised how little research you did before publishing this. Also, it was never clearly established how you are ranking the creatures, so the entire list just feels subjective. Regardless, glad you made this and it was an entertaining listen.

Alternately you can just use an archeopterix to skip the whole thing. At least you could in ASE, haven't done the tek cave in ASA so not sure if still possible there.
