I just finished this game and it was one of the best gaming experiences of my life. To anyone who hasn't played it, do so immediately. You will not regret it.

What type of game is it
Probably one of the worst and annoying game I ever played. Terrible clumsy controls and bad overall mechanics.

I remember I got this game for Christmas 2016 and I played literally all day. I had watched/read everything I could about the game prior to release. Then I played again and again after I completed it. I wish I could go back in time and just relive all of that, especially right now with this whole crazy year. This game really touched my soul and will hold a special place in my heart.

I still come back to this trailer years after finishing the game. What an incredible experience.
For those who do not purchase the game yet, you need to understand that this game is not an ordinary game, it is an experience and a piece of art as well; Just like SOTC, and ICO. the main focus here is on the extremely amazing story, the outstanding journey, and the an unforgettable bond. As for me, I found it a masterpiece. As I said, it is not even a game if you want to take it in nowadays online games virus thing standard , it is a priceless experience! that's why it is in the top of my best 5 games I've ever played.

This journey is absolutely heartfelt , it’s every child’s dream to experience having a friend like this to go through this crazy world together. After all we will always have that childlike dream inside of us . Magnificent and emotional for me . One of my all time favorites by far .
Games like this make me glad my dad chose to get me a ps2 instead of Xbox 360 all those years ago

I hope he comes back someday! This game will always have a place in my heart! This is the best game I could have played in my entire life. It was sad seeing him go.

Just played this for the first time in 2023. This game was one of the few games that helmed the start of PS4 and I can confidently say it still stands as an unforgettable experience. What a journey!

If you’re asking for a direct sequel, you may have missed the point. This is what you end up with when developers basically devote themselves to a concept and focus on making it as perfect as possible before moving on to the next concept.

The last hour or so of this game stands as one of the greatest hours of a video game of the entire PS4 generation.
I watched this before I played and got chills, I watched AFTER I played the game and STILL got chills, (btw the game was totally worth the wait)
The Last Guardian is the only game (experience) I've played that pulled at my heart strings so much. It lives in my heart rent free forever.

I can't believe this game is a year old. I bought this game, I played it, and I fell in love. Every time I restarted it broke my heart, and I've already played it a solid 14-15 times through (for achievements and fun), but this game worked it's way up to my #1 favorite game of all time. And now we are getting a Shadow of he Colossus remake?! They are spoiling us.

I don't care what people say, even 3 years later this to me remains one of the best games on the PS4. Sure, when I was playing it there were bugs, frame rate problems and clunky controls.... but I'm here at the end of 2019 watching this trailer, eyes swelling up remembering what a beautiful and emotional experience it was, the kind that very few video games actually are, the kind that even the rarest films and pieces of music can achieve. Wonderful.

Tip for everyone interested in playing/replaying the game in 2024,you can give more direct commands to Trico by pressing the call button+any of your own button (jump,grab,kneel) also with this you can make him give little jump if ur bored :)

The soundtrack is so movie like it's why I love this studios games. For me it's the closest to a Zelda style world that doesn't explain too much and leaves plenty of room for theories and is presented beautifully. I loved this game more than I expected

Just picked this game up from a secondhand shop for £5 and weren’t sure what to expect but it’s money well spent. Yeah the controls are tricky and it’s tricky working together as trico has a mind of its own at times but I actually really like this game to say I’ve never heard of it and it’s not a perfect game it is a very memorable one to say the least.

After watching this trailer, I'm now starting to think that this game will end like "How To Train Your Dragon". Trico won't die. And after some harrowing experiences throughout the game, the tribe the boy comes from will learn that this species of animal can live along side people & don't need to be feared or killed. Yep......I think that's going to be how the game ends. I'll probably still need some tissue near by just in case. lol
