In worst case they would had hid it and just made her continue as if nothing had happened. And I appreciate that WM and Jine were honest about what was going on. It's important that idols don't act like superhumen but instead admit their struggles. I hope Jine is happy with whatever she's doing right now.

I think that she was seen by a fan, she was with a guy (possibly her boyfrend) and she was looking a lot healthier than before. I don't remember where I saw that but yeah.
how messed up do people need to be to call a person "fat" and "chubby" when she was gaining weight for her health. seriously. after the first time she was in hospital, she needed to take care of her body by gaining weight, but i guess those ""fans"" weren't satisfied, huh? and after she sacrificed her health yet again to become thinner she's "ugly". will they ever be happy with the way she looks? she starved herself so the ""fans"" would be happy with how she looks. still, they're not okay with her. callout to the people who probably comment stuff like that-look at yourselves. do you have a perfect body like all of those idols do? seriously, get your life together,it doesn't matter a thing how a random idol looks. it makes me sad just thinking about it smh :/
i believe that the main reason as to why netizens share their opinions is because they somehow feel entitled that their opinion is to be heard. i’ll never understand the obsession with weight and the constant belittling of these idols when they themselves do not even fit any of the beauty standards.
Props to the company. They handled the situation way better than any company ever has. Thank you for being good human beings and making sure your idols are healthy and thriving.
Im a fan since the beginning and it was a wild ride but in the end I'm glad Jine is out of OMG because I don't think it was helping her health, which is most important.
Some people are seriously ignorant. I’m in recovery for bulimia and after a LONG time of being unwell, recovery weight goes on FAST and you can look bloated and chunky at first. (I mean Jine didn’t even look chunky or bloated but anyway) Your body has been in starvation mode for so long, that it panics and gains weight so quickly, it can be very difficult to see oneself in a positive light. The fact that Jine started to gain weight and was happy and the fans tore her progress down makes me feel so deeply sad inside. I sincerely found this video so hard to watch but I am glad she got the help she needed. OH MY GIRL isn’t the same with her though.
Eating disorders always have psychological story in behind of it. (Eating more when you're stressed or opposite.) It can be everything which caused to have it. So please don't judge people like that. They have good and kind heart. They're just too nice for this world. And too harsh for themselves. Plus: Good to know that there are companies who respects and care for their artist's:)
how did their bodies become a topic of discussion AFTER ppl already officially knew at least someone was struggling with their body image? like... do they want to worsen it so badly? also writing articles about the weight gain of someone who's anorexic. that's bound to trigger them tf. good to see a company actually doing smtp about their idol's eds for once though
This is heartbreaking. How could people take this girl's dream from her like that? Knowing she has body image issues, knowing she has weight issues, and tormenting her about it no matter what she does. It's disgusting behavior.
Honestly, this is probably one of the reasons why it seems like omg members are very protective of Arin. Like Jine, she's quite timid herself and most people only notice her visuals.
You need to understand that she had an eating disorder. I've never hard it but peope with this e.d can't control how they feel. Their disorder takes over them like a demon. It's a disorder sadly. Some have it so severe it's heart breaking
hufntez gyuhgtf thank you, great explanation. I have had an eating disorder (still have one) and its not about losing weight all the time. Its literally my fucked up brain. Other than that im just me.
Call me rude but I want to punch those netizens. “Oh, she gained weight and now she’s happy? Too fat! Disgusting! Oh, she lost weight again? Bony, ugly. Disgusting!” Like at least stay consistent with what you want. They’re so insensitive. I had an eating disorder as well and lately I’ve fallen back into old habits. It breaks my heart nobody was taking this situation seriously and just hoped she would get healthy again. People with eating disorders NEED help, they need the help to ignore that malicious and controlling voice inside your head. This story is so heartbreaking.
this reminded me of the times when I was underweight, I wasn't diagnosed with anorexia or any other eating disorders, but just one day I would start throwing up whenever I smell or eat food, I lost so much weight and people called me ugly and told me I need to gain weight, I struggled on my own and gradually forced myself to eat, then I gained weight and people called me ugly and fat and told me I should lose weight, and I am not even overweight or obese, I am just average for my height but I am now watching this and having to deal with people around me I am scared of going back to that point

I really wish she was still with them. I don't even really listen to Oh My Girl but this broke my heart. How 'fans' were being rude, but at least she had good times and good fans. Hopefully she's doing better.
I’m super glad that the person who was doing the captions were saying “She lost confidence” “She was losing herself” never once did they bring her down.
I never really was into OMG that much, and I had no idea that JinE was suffering from an eating disorder. I really hope that she’s happy and healthy right now ❤️
Awww I feel so bad for her. I’m actually tearing up... its just so sad how comments could basically ruin her dreams, mental, and health. I hope she has recovered fully, healthy, and happy. We won’t forget you, Jine 💕
And all she wanted was to fulfill her dreams.. I'm seriously sick of this "Body image" Thing now. No matter how you look, you won't be able to not get negativity thrown your way. It's kinda messed up actually.
Is there any way we can stop netizens? The world would be better off without them. Because of them, idols have to act like robots, and lose so much weight. In addition, they get depression and have anxiety disorders because of their comments, and I hate that so much. How many idols do we have to lose to stop these lunatics and cruel people??
I was wondering if what is Chaeyeon's reaction to this as she is OMG's company mate, for sure she is really worried💕Anyways,I hope she'll get rid of all the negative people around and I hope she'll be healthy💕💖
I don’t know what people want. She gain weight or lose weight. When she gain weight people told her she was chubby and ugly. When she lose weight people criticized her and told her she was ugly too. What exactly k-net want? She waisted 5 year as trainee and her dream destroyed by her own fan. I don’t know what will happened to our society in the future. It keep getting worse.
I absolutely love her company. They actually care about their idols and trainees, whereas other companies either ignore cos they don’t care, don’t even notice or they use it for attention and publicity.
everytime I hear JinE’s story I can’t help but cry. i’m so glad their company put her in hospital, and although i really miss her being in OMG, i’m also happy she decided to focus on her recovery. i hope she knows how loved she is
i cant believe people can call themselves "fans" and still comment on their idol's weights. it doesn't matter if the comment is positive or negative, saying literally ANYTHING about weight to someone who had or still has an eating disorder is so incredibly triggering. absolutely disgusting and disapointing.
Honestly true fans would not criticize idols weight point blank period. We need to love the idols as people and performers, not control them and tear them down. People just suck.
I guess they are still friends because when they were had concert in america last saturday someone ask (with QandA ment.) them if they were talk to each other until now..and seunghee say yes and jine liked thier post on thier instagram.
I just wonder if the people who write those hateful articles and comments know that they’re literally close to killing someone. I’m sobbing rn after watching this video 😭
I'm a new Miracle and watching this made me so sad I hope wherever JinE is now that she's doing okay it's been 3 years since she left Oh My Girl and it's crazy how I wouldn't have known she existed if it weren't for this video. This just goes to show you how negative comments can really effect a person.
It absolutely disgusts me how Knetz can be so unbelievably horrible. I know Korea has certain beauty standards, I get it, that’s their culture, but belittling a young girl for her weight and completely ignoring the fact that she had severe mental disorders and physical flaws? That’s not culture, that’s just picking on someone for the sake of it. Are Koreans not educated on mental health AT ALL? Like come on, the girl was suffering and instead of supporting her through her rough times, they bully her instead? It makes me sick. I’m so happy she was under a relatively decent company who actually looked out for her and gave her the treatment she needed though. Edit: Unfortunately, Knetz failed us again. We’ve lost Sulli. I don’t know what to say, I’m just in shock. Keep her family and Friends in your thoughts. I’m absolutely disgusted by Korean Netizens, driving a girl to her own suicide.
I remember watching her cry on ohmygirl cast finale(1st reality show of ohmygirl)because she was touched by jiho said to her some encourage words and wishing to take care her good health☹
the thing is you don't just have anorexia and think it's gonna go away in 2 weeks because you put on weight again, you are diagnosed anorexic with the mental state you're in, not the physical state... believe me my sister was diagnosed anorexic before becoming really thin, she's being dealing with it for 1 year now and she still has a long way to go, it's temporary but I'm talking months or years, not days or weeks
People who know nothing about anorexia or eating disorders in general shouldn’t decide how long gaining back weight is allowed to take. I myself had a fast recovery and it is normal for many others to have so too.
Fans are really scary.. They cannot make their idol like that.. Nobody is perfect... I 'm sorry if my words hurts anyone feeling... But the matter really painful for an idol.. As a fan, they should encourage and motivate not to push the idol away...
@@가루-d8y oo.. Sorry.. I am still newbie.. So, actually i think fan and hater are two terms that an idol need to consider.. Because both of these term give effect and influence the life of idol either for positive or negative aspect
Seeing the post she made on Instagram yesterday (or maybe the day before, I can't remember) makes me so happy because she looks so good compared to what she looked like before she left. She's made some really progress.
first of all, people are so cruel. it's no your business whether someone is skinny/chubby or not. i bet 90% of the people judging her and hating on her were obese, plus, it's not like you're working any harder than her so it ain't your business. secondly, i'm glad she left. if netizens were being so confusing (telling her to lose weight a moment and the next telling her to gain weight) then it's better that way.
I was about to stand them because of her but the fandom is so mean to the idol and I know you can stand the group and dont be in the fandom, but come on people are so rude to her... ''lose weight'' "gain weight you look nasty" come guys you can do better then that be nice to idol them aren't robots, they are humans and they struggle with body images too.
Tae Tae the ones that criticised her aren't OMG fans... They are just some knetz who have no decent manners. I honestly haven't seen any OMG fan saying anything about her being too thick or whatnot.
I'm actually very impressed by her company, and the way they treated her health. Most companies are so inhumane.

In worst case they would had hid it and just made her continue as if nothing had happened. And I appreciate that WM and Jine were honest about what was going on. It's important that idols don't act like superhumen but instead admit their struggles. I hope Jine is happy with whatever she's doing right now.
Agree!!
Is there a way she can update us on how she is now? I know it’s better for her to be out of the spotlight, but I’m just worried and if there is a source where she as updates fans recently on her condition, I’d love to see it! ❤️❤️❤️
I think that she was seen by a fan, she was with a guy (possibly her boyfrend) and she was looking a lot healthier than before. I don't remember where I saw that but yeah.
follow her on insta! @c_nye.zini
@@crystyles omg thanks so much😍❤
@@markly5460 Yeah it was during a sexy girl group cover. I barely recognized her. If it was her, so glad to know she's healthy.
@@crystyles is that really her
how messed up do people need to be to call a person "fat" and "chubby" when she was gaining weight for her health. seriously. after the first time she was in hospital, she needed to take care of her body by gaining weight, but i guess those ""fans"" weren't satisfied, huh? and after she sacrificed her health yet again to become thinner she's "ugly". will they ever be happy with the way she looks? she starved herself so the ""fans"" would be happy with how she looks. still, they're not okay with her. callout to the people who probably comment stuff like that-look at yourselves. do you have a perfect body like all of those idols do? seriously, get your life together,it doesn't matter a thing how a random idol looks. it makes me sad just thinking about it smh :/
i believe that the main reason as to why netizens share their opinions is because they somehow feel entitled that their opinion is to be heard. i’ll never understand the obsession with weight and the constant belittling of these idols when they themselves do not even fit any of the beauty standards.
Props to the company. They handled the situation way better than any company ever has. Thank you for being good human beings and making sure your idols are healthy and thriving.
i've watched this video so many times its so sad
I'd like to see those netizens and what they look like before commenting on the appearance of young girls.Wouldn't be so fun?
people are playing with her feelings they're so cruel.
i just started my journey in this fandom and i cried watching this. i wish i could stan them from the start
I hope you recover too!!
I really dont get people nowadays 🙁 If youre fat you should go diet but when you lose your weight they still complaining 🙄.
You need to understand that she had an eating disorder. I've never hard it but peope with this e.d can't control how they feel. Their disorder takes over them like a demon. It's a disorder sadly. Some have it so severe it's heart breaking
They are confusing af!
Those fans are super demanding just let your idols be happy
hufntez gyuhgtf thank you, great explanation. I have had an eating disorder (still have one) and its not about losing weight all the time. Its literally my fucked up brain. Other than that im just me.
@@nadiaz6987 Omy. I hope you will be okay soon girl 💞. Sometimes I really want to blame those judgemental people out there.
she was under 85pounds? thats barely 40kg omg
As long as youre healthy and you know it and especially dont change your diet everything will go right
Call me rude but I want to punch those netizens. This story is so heartbreaking.
jine was my ultimate bias once, i miss seeing her on stage but i know she will be healthy now not in the public’s eye 💕
Dont worry, now she's healthy and she grew up. She's so beautiful
poor girl was literally bullied out of the industry- netizens never learn.
Poor Hyejin, this is because of some netizens who said that she's fat and misshaped when she's clearly not (at least she's slimmer than I am)
this reminded me of the times when I was underweight, I wasn't diagnosed with anorexia or any other eating disorders, but just one day I would start throwing up whenever I smell or eat food, I lost so much weight and people called me ugly and told me I need to gain weight, I struggled on my own and gradually forced myself to eat, then I gained weight and people called me ugly and fat and told me I should lose weight, and I am not even overweight or obese, I am just average for my height but I am now watching this and having to deal with people around me I am scared of going back to that point
I'm so sorry that it happened to you. I hope that you'll feel better, no matter what, you are beautiful in your own way. :)
Sending love and hugs to you!!
i’m exactly like her. tiny waist but thicker thighs, body dysmorphia (however u spell it), etc
g ᥲ b ᥡ me too :(( my legs are so huge and my waist is the only thing that’s tiny, which makes me feel so fat because even heavier people have skinnier legs than me
oh yeah me too... also i’ve got an ED which is fun
Same... I hope you're doing better tho, we gotta be there for each other 😊
Stella Williams oh yeah , I’m doing way better now and I’m more confident about my body now :)
" Fans " want she loss weight then she loss the weight that " fans " want & after she lost it , " fans " said she look scary & want look healtier okay she do what " fans " want . & she gained weight but still " fans " dont like it . At the end . She become a burden of the group & left her group . SHE THE LONGEST TRAINEE & DEBUT WITH OH MY GIRL . SHE IS ADORABLE . SHE IS PRETTY . SHE IS AMAZING PERSON . SHE IS EVERYTHING but because of the " fans " SHE BECOME A QUITE PERSON , she dont want show herself to other . THIS WORLD IS SOOOO CRUEL . JINE UNNIE . LETS BE YOURSELF . WHO WILL LOVE YOU? " US " & " YOURSELF " we will support you wherever you go & whoever you are 💓💟🌈💯
I bet you there could be a K-pop idol who had literally, absolutely no fat on their body whatsoever and a Knet would still call them fat.
I'm concerned about so many artist health. Some are crazy skinny. Just like blackpink
Short, small frame, tiny waist, thick thighs....
Yea in America that's every girls dream body =_=
when having an eating disorder, comments about your weight or how your body looks isn't helping at all it's making it worse. the fan were really mean toward her, especially since they knew she has anorexia
I really wish she was still with them. I don't even really listen to Oh My Girl but this broke my heart. How 'fans' were being rude, but at least she had good times and good fans. Hopefully she's doing better.
little reminder for anyone watching this now. recovery does NOT mean weight gain. recovery is about fixing your mindset and relationship with food.
I’m super glad that the person who was doing the captions were saying
“She lost confidence” “She was losing herself” never once did they bring her down.
K-Pop industry and fanbases are very cruel, that is why every member of a K Pop group should be mentally strong, poor Jine she IS beautiful.
THICK thighs?
i hope you become the most happiest girl in the world Jine we Miracle always support you! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
I never really was into OMG that much, and I had no idea that JinE was suffering from an eating disorder. I really hope that she’s happy and healthy right now ❤️
My shining star, her voice is so pretty so pretty girl, our talented jine we love you 😼😻💚💙😗😍😚💘😗❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥❤️ stay healthy and strong and be brave 😻😺💟💚♥️😙
Awww I feel so bad for her. I’m actually tearing up... its just so sad how comments could basically ruin her dreams, mental, and health. I hope she has recovered fully, healthy, and happy. We won’t forget you, Jine 💕
Netizens just don’t shut up
"She just wanted to be beautiful"" god my heart exploded
If they gain weight it's bad and if they're lose weight it's bad too. People is so stupid, I really hate this society.
“Thick thighs”..... don’t look at mine then damn
And all she wanted was to fulfill her dreams.. I'm seriously sick of this "Body image" Thing now. No matter how you look, you won't be able to not get negativity thrown your way. It's kinda messed up actually.
I cried during the video. This is so heartbreaking, man. People are so sick minded. >:^(
Is there any way we can stop netizens?
Words, are so powerful, and they can make a positive or negative impact on a person. 😭 Be careful what you say please.
She had a good management company. At least the company cared about the health of the girls instead of just the profit.
She looked so good when she had more weight on her and then “fans” bullied her into loosing it all and it truly is terrible
I don't understand she is so small and skinny she is gorgeous, you don't need to lose wait darling you are beautiful just the way you are.periodt.
I really hope she’s happy now, I cried at the end. :( wonder where she is now..
Honestly true fans would not criticize idols weight point blank period. We need to love the idols as people and performers, not control them and tear them down. People just suck.
please tell me she and the group members are still friends?
I also really thought that their latest comeback song "Remember Me" featured her haha
I guess they are still friends because when they were had concert in america last saturday someone ask (with QandA ment.) them if they were talk to each other until now..and seunghee say yes and jine liked thier post on thier instagram.
It's safe to assume they are still friend and talk to each other, I mean she didnt leave due to bitterness between members she had a disorder.
bravo to this company, they really did the right thing and I know it’s only humane, but it’s something most companies wouldn’t do.
All companies should treat their members like this
I found the way this company accepted her to leave the group and how she took care of her health so amazing most companies are very bad with idols
Many talk aboy "P Nation".. But. Can we appreciate OMG's agency?
They did such a good job with dthis situation
I don't understand what's the use of commenting about other people's body and looks
Poor thing. ~cries for her~
I remember watching her cry on ohmygirl cast finale(1st reality show of ohmygirl)because she was touched by jiho said to her some encourage words and wishing to take care her good health☹
Conclusion: the public failed her.
the thing is you don't just have anorexia and think it's gonna go away in 2 weeks because you put on weight again, you are diagnosed anorexic with the mental state you're in, not the physical state... believe me my sister was diagnosed anorexic before becoming really thin, she's being dealing with it for 1 year now and she still has a long way to go, it's temporary but I'm talking months or years, not days or weeks
Is this like fact information or just assumptions?
I mean everything she "thought",, has she given an interview or something..?
oh my girl lost an angel T^T
fly high angel
People who know nothing about anorexia or eating disorders in general shouldn’t decide how long gaining back weight is allowed to take. I myself had a fast recovery and it is normal for many others to have so too.
Fans are really scary.. They cannot make their idol like that.. Nobody is perfect... I 'm sorry if my words hurts anyone feeling... But the matter really painful for an idol.. As a fan, they should encourage and motivate not to push the idol away...
It’s not the fans it was haters. Fans would never say that especially the ohmygirl fandom they love all the girls no matter what
@@가루-d8y oo..
What's her ig?
@@blubleeus3848 c_nye.zini I believe
first of all, people are so cruel. it's no your business whether someone is skinny/chubby or not. i bet 90% of the people judging her and hating on her were obese, plus, it's not like you're working any harder than her so it ain't your business. secondly, i'm glad she left. if netizens were being so confusing (telling her to lose weight a moment and the next telling her to gain weight) then it's better that way.
I was about to stand them because of her but the fandom is so mean to the idol and I know you can stand the group and dont be in the fandom, but come on people are so rude to her...
''lose weight''
"gain weight you look nasty"
come guys you can do better then that be nice to idol them aren't robots, they are humans and they struggle with body images too.
Tae Tae the ones that criticised her aren't OMG fans... They are just some knetz who have no decent manners. I honestly haven't seen any OMG fan saying anything about her being too thick or whatnot.
Just wondering, on what planet are those thick thighs???? They just look proportionate
