Bro india me civic limited variants me hai. In North America, we have many engine options and different transmissions. And yes civic owner should turn off that Econ Mode while draggy.
Honda Civic was in Econ mode throughout. The green leaf logo shows that. Econ mode makes hell lot of a difference in initial grunt.

Yes, Eco mode basically dulls immediate throttle response to save fuel consumption. Even when shifter is in S mode, it will be fairly dull with throttle inputs. Ideally the eco should turn itself off automatically in S, but that’s the way the Civic is. I too have this one, so I know.
@@MuditSehgal no it will not turn off automatically even if you put in S, you need to undo the eco mode manually, I'm a mechanic at Honda servicing center so I think i knows about more than you....
@@xaraprimex4669 That's what I said I think. I said IDEALLY it should turn ECON off in Sports mode, but it doesn't. The throttle response therefore remains dull even in Sports mode if ECON is not turned off Manually.

@@danisharshad1354 no they are not my friend. They are well gated and provide a different grunt and torque on each gear change. Even you feel jerks when shifting like in a Torque converter. It gives life to the engine on a different level.

1st thing to add here...
1. The Econ mode is on which limits ur gear shifting time. So turn off the ECON.
2. Turn off the AC.
3. Launch the Car at 2500 rpm with full throttle.
4. This depends upon the owner but he needs to use a K&N conical air filter as the company Airfilter is literally the worst ever as it slows down the air intake.
This is all you have to do launch a Civic. Yes the CVT gearbox is the worst ever when it comes to launching no doubt but I own a Cuvic ZX nd I had literally smoked a GLA on rolling. The CVT is built for fuel efficiency only 🤦

Push the throttle till 4 to 6rmp then (leave the acceleration paddle and push it again ) as fast as you can then shift to s(mode)
