    Just started this series on submeta. It is top notch quality and very detailed! I’ve personally been leg dragged by Levi and I was blown away with how smooth and easily he did it from various positions. So, I’m not surprised by the level of detail in this series.

    I really like that the pin at the end of the pass was filmed. Being able to see how to stabilize the position if the person doesn't just accept the leg drag was pretty helpful.

    You killed it Levi. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and good vibes. Hopefully this gets to Kade and it changes his bad attitude along with his guard passing.

    Why did my algo give me a pass? Dear UA-cam algo, I wanna see Levi’s guard techniques exclusively. 😂

      @@zenzubean3036many think he won because he was jj related performing better despite being in guard therefore should won according to the points system

      Definitely won that fight. Kade did nothing but jump around and move a lot. He never even came close to passing Levi’s guard

      That's not the Riles's they were playing though. Seemed as though CJI was mainly about attack initiation and the amount of times Leary pulled guard would've gone against as far as points go. You can't use traditional jj criteria to score or view that match.

    The amount of influence the mendes bros have had on jiujitsu is mind blowing.

    What is the reason for Levi switching his left hand to Lachlan’s shoulder before switching sides?

    • @Leumas34676
      @Leumas34676 Рік тому

      Probably to keep him on his back so he can’t wrestle up or attack the head

      It’s so he can create tripod pressure and make his legs lighter for pummeling

    This man has an almost impenetrable guard. However, his guard passing may be even more dangerous. Imagine if he becomes strong at wrestling 🤯

    When did we start calling half-guard "reverse de la riva"?

    • @highsoflyify
      @highsoflyify Рік тому +23

      No one says this. He was just mentioning that you have to be careful where you step with the inside food, because you can get stuck in a reverse de la riva (while you are still standing). The RDL hook is one of the most common counters against the knee cut pass

      You will understand thw difference by the time you get your bluebelt.

    • @kevinarambula141
      @kevinarambula141 5 місяців тому +4

      the bottom players half gaurd hook would become a RDLR entry as soon as the top player gets their knees off the mats. once the RDLR hook is in play you can use it for entries or sweeps. The difference is in the positioning of stances
