LG should concentrate on motion clarity in my opinion and have a brighter panel with BFI and you got a winner. Gamers love motion clarity and low input lag. I love my CX still haven’t upgraded, looks great still.
Yup, I'm thinking until Sony or Microsoft develop the future consoles to actually be 8K capable at 120hz or push 240Hz at 4K I don't think they'll be innovating in gaming features for some time. Brighter panels and BFI is an amazing thing to have though.
@@4070super I hope not, because that's not going to happen for a long time. Aside from that, 8K120, 8K60 and 4K240 is just about the last thing the gaming industry needs. When it comes to gaming, I'd much rather see them target quality modes at 4K60 with their next generation consoles and improve on image and graphical quality. For this gen, more 40fps options would be great.
@@4070superThe console industry will shift to cloud based services before they dive into 8K territory. They don’t want the liability of house fires due to the immense amount of processing power needed to push that. Not to mention the amount of heat a console will generate will be much harder to keep functioning
most gamers playing at 144hz probably dont know anything about BFI or motion clarity.
I can't recommend anything beyond a c3 this past year when motion issues remain on oleds. Motion interpolation is a terrible solution since the frames in between are still only guessed, they're not accurate and it strains the brain/eyes to convert it for the sake of avoiding sample and hold frame stutter which you can deal with for much longer periods of viewing.
After some time of comparison and considering alternatives i've just decided to buy a 55" LG C3 Evo for my gaming & video preferences and i'm quite sure i'll be best equipped for the years to come. Thanks for the video 😊

have you tried just sitting like 2m closer to your tv? not sure what the craze is with ever increasing tv size preference, it's like you people don't know how things work with tv's and spacing haha, unless you have a gym in one of the 8 rooms of your mansion that you've repurposed into an actual theater that you want to watch from the opposite end of, for some reason - or you're just a shill/AI trying to turn market sentiment towards ever increasing sizes because that's where the biggest margins are for these companies and so top priority..
My wife and I spent the last year looking after my parents who have a 65” C2 model. My wife and I have a 65” C9 model we got in 2019 (the first gen HDMI 2.1 set). We’ve been back at our place and now my wife wants a new TV because the software on the C2 is so much slicker than the C9. 😏

very interested in the 97” but waiting for the price to drop by multiples.
Great news. I had qned913 and it was good tv overall though with some downsides. I like it more than Samsung qn90b or TCL C835/C745/C845 and when watching in daylight QNED is better than OLED c1. If LG will improve local dimming algorithm I will purchase qned90t for shure.

Hello, I have a question. I bought an OLED 65 C3. I wanted to know if it is normal to hear a slight whistling noise when it shows a very bright image in standard mode, like a white screen.

Feels like yesterday that we had the 2023 tv details
Lg non oled tv are usually horrible, and with TCL and Hisense killing it lately .
LG needs to concentrate on making an 85-inch oled at a good price.
I think a 97-inch oled price point will never come down to the mass.
Thanks Vincent as always for your tireless and honest work.
Yeah i really don't see this beating the affordable Hisense 100 inch mini LED
Hisense buying up Toshiba's panel division was a great play.
@randomchannel323 you do realize the u8k 100 is near 5k and it's only a 8 bit panel vs the ux85 is a 16 bit panel that needs more calibration done out of the box but also cost the same price. Hisense don't got it like you think
Sony Bravia LED/Mini LED outperform competing LG and even sometimes Samsung in black levels
97 inch will be 83 inch price 4K on 8K panel in a few years
If you're obsessed with BFI for motion clarity, QNED is still good way to go because it still has 60 and 120Hz BFI. And actually because they're naturally brighter TVs, you can easly activate BFI on max in almost every scenario even with lights on. With FALD on high still have descent black tho. And pretty good algorithms in some lineup.
Bro bfi isn't smooth on a led TV. Just making them trash mediatek chips work harder with more input lag
@@alanclark9000 Yeah... Example. A9,A7 gen5 ARM Cortex A76 on A9 and ARM Cortex A-55 on A7... Huge difference XD
But! Only worthy BFI realisation in CX OLED... Gen3 processor. So ARM Cortex A-73. Latest QNED with FALD is 2022 model with A7 Gen5. So ARM Cortex A-55. And Same Mali-G52 MC2 with 2/32 units. Huge!
Actual difference is like OLED has Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro and QNED without Pro.
Played 2D retro games on both. And in terms of BFI i choose QNED.
You cold check on rtings. Even in terms of BFI realisation. OLED has more double/ghosting images than latest QNED. Plus brightness of OLED in BFI mode won't let you use it in HDR mode. IPS is different story. Not so contrast. But still can use.
People always brighter and brigher and I'm here with my C1 and its like melting my eyes at 0 oled brightness at night on a properly dim room yall are crazy.

I’m getting excited for LG’s 4K 240hz/1080p 480hz Monitor, ooooowweee
I once owned an lg nano cell 85 and the local dimming was terrible and bluming so bad I would be reluctant to rely on local dimming again
I just want to see 16:9 32" OLED monitors. This industry is determined to make just about anything but this basic monitor.
i use a 48" oled monitor from asus its great but you need the space for it. i have mine wall mounted instead of desk mounted which gives me my entire desktop surface to use
32" 4K 240Hz OLED displays from both Samsung and LG are scheduled to arrive in 2024
@@FountaenBluwhy has it taken this long though? Was it yields? An expensive cut? No market built? Idk why it’s taken so long.
Ditto. I don’t have the room nor need for a big monitor plus the amount of neck strain that comes after from constantly moving my head everywhere just to see something.
Even a 27” 4K 120-144 Hrz monitor would be great. More PPI which gives a BETTER picture!
@@ValoricThe industry has always pumped out bigger TVs/Monitors to keep the costs down on the initial switch between resolutions.
Omega, I'm so excited, LG reveiled alients, finally.
I would love of the c4 42 inch could do 4k 240hz 1080p 480hz like the upcoming monitors
I think you might be in the wrong product category 😂
240hz at 4K could happen some day but I think these companies know that most of the consumers aren't like you and me and would trade visual fidelity for higher frame rates and faster response times.
What games are you playing at native 4k and 240hz most modern titles on my 4090 don't even get close once you crank them up, sure older games and maybe those actually optimized or less graphically demanding could potentially. But idk the way devs make games these days the 4090 at true 4k 120 is a gem. I use the Sony a90k 42inch.
@chance0marasso thats absurd, plenty of older games easily hit 4K 240hz on cards much weaker than a 4090. Not all games are new AAA pathtraced etc., MOST games people want to play could actually hit 4K 240hz with appropriate settings.
@Wobbothe3rd nothing I play but yes I did acknowledge older games already I just don't think for most people more than 120fps is a benefit. If it is, an oled tv is probably the wrong category monitor for you. I like all the eye candy turned up on a modern game, most people aren't pro esports players so I just don't see the benefits of having a higher refresh rate oled at this time. In the future when more powerful cards come out that can run modern show pieces at higher fps then sure. 🤷
A future panel isn't built to do over 120 fps. If lg was to put a software update to allow you to do 240 fps it would work on any 2.1 hdmi oled. When I say any I mean cx c1 and up
I have seen the 80"+ model available for £5999 on LGs shop
