I like what you said about Luigi’s alleged actions almost seeming like an act of ally-ship. It’s a simple fact that if Luigi weren’t a wealthy, educated, mentally healthy, white man the narratives surrounding this story would 100% be about his person instead of his action. In the state we are in at this time, Luigi ‘checking off all these boxes’ has forced even the close-minded to sympathize with and consider the ramifications of the act. As someone of a similar stature to Luigi (though perhaps not as rich, I mean the dude’s family owned literal golf courses?!?), it’s our responsibility to make a stand where others can’t. What’s the point in having privilege if we don’t use it to help those who don’t have it? Also, rant aside, I watch your videos a lot and I’m a big fan. We need more Gen Z content 💪

I'm from a socialist European country and I can say - it's very clear to me how Americans are fed up with late stage capitalism, as it benefits only the already wealthy. In a system I live in, our biggest problem is corruption, but due to out socialist heritage and history, we have big parts of the system working differently and benefiting the people (healthcare, social security, elderly care, care of the poor etc). As I see it, USA is sadly far from any real changes and it's gonna take a long time and a lot of collective effort to change things, much longer than it would take us here in my society (we are currently in larger than ever student protests due to 15 people dying in a horrible public space incident). While we change politicians, we mostly don't change systems cause they work. USA needs a system change, it seems, and I hope people stand up and fight the injustice and corruption.

The mass media's claims that Luigi's support could inspire copycats seem like a transparent attempt to sway public opinion in favor of CEOs and other powerful entities. Ironically, by suggesting this possibility, the media might actually be planting the idea in the minds of radicals seeking justice. If copycats do emerge, I doubt the general public would feel threatened. In fact, there's a growing indifference towards political figures who are supposed to serve the public but instead prioritize their own agendas and those of their colleagues. Personally, I'm more concerned about everyday crimes committed by and against average citizens than the assassination of figures who, like Hitler, pursue their own selfish goals without regard or empathy for the public's needs.

If you remove THAT emphasis and just made him an Italian American working class man from Staten Island there WOULD have been more of an “that’s to be expected” response to this. In some ways there was a bit of stereotyping going on because though he is attractive - I would not say conventionally attractive either- they still would have had some expectation of “thug” around this man. It’s the fact that he’s the kind of rich that doesn’t do lambo but sends kid to all boys prep school with Robotics curriculum that supersedes white and conventional attractiveness. Also let’s not forget he was first described as “light skinned” - which shows right there he registered as not quite white. He became white when they found out who he was (who his family was) I would also say that his grandfather worked hard to “earn” that status because he felt he’d been discriminated against as a first gen Italian American. I recall reading about him buying a club he’d not been allowed entry to then blocking those who wronged him or his family from access to the club he then owned. Part of me feels like Luigi’s family and conservative Italian community are shaking their heads at the memes that reference Tony Soprano and are saying “Man Luigi, you just set us back 50/75 years!” They did used to l*nch Italians back then and they were not considered “white”. Luigi is ethnically attractive- not conventionally attractive also his attraction level largely comes from something more primal that social conventions. His disarming smile being the first thing we saw is speaking to our human instinct - something built up not just by generations but by evolution from when we were probably still in trees. I digress What I’m trying to say is the thing that really made this more resonant for folks upon discovery that this suspect is who he is - is that while people hate capitalism most people would love to win that billion dollar lottery ticket. They love and hate billionaires. Luigi seemed close enough to being one but also being willing to be FOR the people or rather expose that it’s not “fair” this system that allows his family and upwards in net worth to exist. That’s what glazed him EVEN more the the Looks. That’s also what makes him a more universal “ally” - appealing to multiple classes and raising “us all” to class consciousness
Completely agree, he's the perfect candidate to be for "everyone". His insanely clean history and praise from people that knew him personally also speaks to the public. He never seemed the type you'd expect to perform a crime like this, but people sympathise with the idea that a smart, accomplished and well-adjusted boy that grew up with serious money could also be a victim of a system that values profit over people - and be radicalised so quickly as a result. The class traitor is a perfect trope.
As South Africans we also have the same problem when it comes to healthcare and health insurance it's very unequal due to classism, race and it's also very unequal that's why it's either you have Medical Aid or die I stand with Luigi because health insurance companies has treated people
disaster for him... just like oswald, a narcissist with a desire to be famous .... too bad...i think luigi s gonna miss the life of everything you want without having to work....what s that nut people? oswald was innocent also?
It’s one thing to talk about healthcare, it’s a mess. But people are being pathetic here. Go on an app, go to a bar, talk to someone and get yourself laid. The amount of thirst for him is ridiculous. Also, his family owns retirement homes which historically take advantage and treat old people badly. Him and his family are hypocrites which is why you don’t make martyrs of people. He isn’t innocent and it turns a real conversation to be had into a joke. I also think it should be said that the democratic party is a HUGE pusher of globalization that really started with Barack Obama (with the beginning started under Clinton signing NAFTA). But people don’t like talking about that
Yet , somehow, it has been instrumental in the making of the rights we enjoy right now . I'm the most non-violent person in the world, and I'm also a religious person (not liking a lot the Vandee experience ) but the conversation about violence can't be realistic and honest if limited to "violence is always wrong". I wish it would be just unnecessary, but it will be such only daring to face the issues that make it blow up.

This is such an interesting perspective and not one that I can honestly say I've ever thought of before, but it all very much makes sense. Late stage capitalism is indeed upon us.
Hmmmmm… I know & understand where you’re coming from … but at the end of the day - if he’s guilty he should face ‘jail time’ regardless of his colour or his aesthetic appearance. That doesn’t change. He has acted as the catalyst to what’s happening now. He should face justice AND the process of health care change commence Let’s not take our eyes off the ball here … this is how large ‘for profit’ organisations use ie to seek out and use divisions within society (race, gender, etc) In fact, I’m really surprised that there hasn’t been a slur on him as being a poedophile or something as sinister - if our emotive responses are really that easy to control
Hey imurgency, just a small tip: if possible, please don’t “tiktok censor” certain words like murder or kill on UA-cam or platforms that aren’t tiktok. I just feel like it removes the gravity or seriousness of certain topics and talking points when you “tiktokify” those words, among others. Not defending the ceo tho, and love your videos!❤️💕
I am honestly surprised we're still on Magioniee usually this decade-century would have thrown something new to hype about, positive or negative around by now, but I wonder if that isn't the case since it was so in the holiday time and people try to mind their own buinsess staying with or away from families at the moment that not more shennanigans happend. But I think it's kind of painting a picture that there was also a woman set on fire or set herself on fire and hardly anyone talked about that because everyone is busiy simping over an eventual murderer...like I get the idea and moral or lack there off behind it with the hell care system that exist in the US..but laws never work with emotions and it's time we know this. The way the common civiallian is simping over that man he easily could have pulled a Ted Bundy and offed some of them..and that would also been a completley different story... I mean who's writing this damn script that's playing out atm?
Huh? I've been active on twitter this past week and there was loads of noise made about the woman being set on fire. It created a shit load of discourse about immigrants, men harming women, death punishment etc. The articles around it were viewed millions of times too. Also, comparing Mangione's crime to Ted Bundy's is just braindead. One is a serial killer that raped innocent women. The other was entirely idealogically motivated, targeting a man that profits from the suffering of people. That was personal, there's no reason to believe Mangione would harm anyone else. They're not even remotely comparable.
My personal opinion of the Luigi situation is I don’t agree with the amount of love and support he’s been getting bc we truly dk who this person is just one thing they have done and while yes I don’t think it was much of a loss to this world that man dying I do think we should be more apprehensive abt the full blown support when you dk this man’s history and what he has done in the past that could fully pull that support and you look silly for loving a shit head🤷🏽♀️
What's this? A nuanced, reasonable opinion about waiting until we have all the facts? And how dangerous it is to blindly worship someone? On the INTERNET?!? For real tho, most people who've already decided about LM won't change their minds sadly. His lionization is odd. Celebrity worship ENFORCES capitalism, not weakens.
Not a single person from his past social circles has ever said anything bad about him to the media. And the corporate media is fishing very deep since they want a story of an unhinged killer.
While I get your point…. People love whomever the shooter was for offing a mass murderer. Then when it was Luigi who was suspected, it came out over and over again that he’s a brilliant guy, funny, goofy, a nice friend, helpful, earnest, introspective, obviously gorgeous. Yeah of course anything might come out about him later, I suppose. But then why love anyone ever? The truth can always come out about them, right? The fact that NO ONE from his life has come forward to say ANYTHING BAD ABOUT HIM…. Is WILD. That all the interviews with old friends and classmates speak only about him being lovely is WILD. I’ve never even known anyone that people can’t say thousands of awful things about.
@@lordfreerealestate8302good thing support it him isnt intrinsically “anti-capitalist.” Monopolies are anti-capitalist. Outright fraud and grand larceny and mass murder of a client base are anti-capitalist, in a free market sense, right?
Girl what else do we need to know about him…? Multiple friends of his have spoken out and we basically know where he was every 5-10 years of his life. What facts are y’all looking for? Anyways he ate
Killers? He is innocent until proven guilty. Besides, the guy that was unalived was being paid to commit social murder and yes he was the one making the decisions. Social murder is not different than pulling a gun on someone, you just like to pretend it isn't.
In Luigi's cases looks more like cosplayin heroes , something in between individuals sharing the celebration of a pop icon and a community cheering a revolutionary that stands for them. Interesting.
Luigi’s Mangione. I do not respect the actual Luigi Mangione though, he’s a murderer, and he’s not that damn handsome. Typical Italian like actually from Italy look
He’s exquisite looking. And he’s Sicilian. I promise you they don’t all look like that. But yes gorgeous Mediterraneans are the most beautiful people. And while he is just suspected of doing a great thing…. What he seemed to be and do in his regular life was very likable and respectable as well. If he happened to off a mass murderer, then he’s a king as well.
No? In American Psycho Patrick Bateman was a serial killer and killed recklessly in secret because he got sick joy out of it, usually people he considered lower than himself. Luigi killed one guy out in public for political reasons. Literally the only possible similarity is that people thirst over both of them.

Great video. I hope Luigi is innocent and walks.
this was a great video❤

Also, RAW. Next question!
disaster for him... just like oswald, a narcissist with a desire to be famous .... too bad...i think luigi s gonna miss the life of everything you want without having to work....what s that nut people? oswald was innocent also?
Nice to see antpo still out there doin his thing
Luigi is the modern day Shay’s rebellion. It’s just showing the flaws in the U.S. government and health care system.
This is a sign of society's decline but paying 300$ for one diabetes pill isn't?
Time to set up the fire, pots and pans. We're cooking a ceo stew.
For a movie about jury nullification watch Anxious People by Frederic Bachman
This whole thing was nonsense. Took too long to get to Luigi.
But people don’t like talking about that
today's world is starting to look more and more dystopian. 3rd spaces are dead. What has social media done?
People need to consider the Terror in French history. Lets not take that route please!
@@elleanna5869 It actually lead to the rise of other toxic governments. And the suffering of thousands and the CORROSION of their rights and the government destroying anyone who disagreed.
Also, countless INNOCENT people were killed in the Terror - in the thousands. Not just the "bad guys", and that was one of its key problems.
We love you luigi. He helped the community and now we need to help him. Get him off free and clear
PLS DO A REVIEW ON OBX SEASON 4 IF YOU HAVENT?
This is such an interesting perspective and not one that I can honestly say I've ever thought of before, but it all very much makes sense. Late stage capitalism is indeed upon us.
Hmmmmm… I know & understand where you’re coming from … but at the end of the day - if he’s guilty he should face ‘jail time’ regardless of his colour or his aesthetic appearance.
That doesn’t change.
He has acted as the catalyst to what’s happening now.
He should face justice AND the process of health care change commence
Let’s not take our eyes off the ball here … this is how large ‘for profit’ organisations use ie to seek out and use divisions within society (race, gender, etc)
In fact, I’m really surprised that there hasn’t been a slur on him as being a poedophile or something as sinister - if our emotive responses are really that easy to control
I made this comment early in the video but I’m still keeping it up💀
Out of all UA-camrs who need more followers it’s Rumiiiiiiiiii
I love Luigi

Good video but had to stop watching. Can’t take it seriously hearing “unaliving” every 5 seconds. Yes I know why you do it

@@lordfreerealestate8302good thing support it him isnt intrinsically “anti-capitalist.”
Monopolies are anti-capitalist.

It’s one thing for people to have look alike contests
But I cross the line if it comes to killers
it’s funny you can laugh!
Killers? He is innocent until proven guilty. Besides, the guy that was unalived was being paid to commit social murder and yes he was the one making the decisions. Social murder is not different than pulling a gun on someone, you just like to pretend it isn't.
MASS killers like CEO's of healthcare scams?
Luigi's a baller
Healthcare is ESSENTIAL and for profit yes that’s the one thing I can get behind because it’s true. But you don’t blast someone in the street
What are you talking about? Don't get your brain thinking here. Do you peddle health insurance?
Just another FBI agent doing work overtime.
You prefer people just keep offing thousands of people THROUGH PAPERWORK????? For MONEY?
Of course you off mass murderers in the street.

Does no one get American (leftist)j Psycho vibes?
No? In American Psycho Patrick Bateman was a serial killer and killed recklessly in secret because he got sick joy out of it, usually people he considered lower than himself. Luigi killed one guy out in public for political reasons. Literally the only possible similarity is that people thirst over both of them.
