Hi. I have serie 4 with the RPM button, the door is open and there is water left in the drum. When trying to close the door and turning the machine on the door mechanism clicks a few times and then fails to lock the door and start. Any ideas on what to try?

@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 I'm getting a PUMP E06 error. If I run a Drain & Spin program right after getting it, then it drains fine and finishes without error. I followed the manual and checked the pump, which was empty, and the hose which wasn't bent and it seems like the water is flowing freely. Any ideas what might be the issue?
@@larslowesjosund2751 I would suggest changing the pump but the fact that it is pumping out the water would suggest the pump is ok. It is very unusual. If you fill the drum (empty from clothes) to say 4-5 inches of water. Stop the machine. Put it to a spin and drain cycle, Is the water leaving the Machine at a very fast rate. ? If it is slow to leave it may suggest an obstruction in the black dump hose going from the the drum to the pump housing.
Just press the temperature button before starting the cycle to go through the different temperatures for the program select. Not every program has the same option but you can select 60 to 20 degree on most.
Hi I have a different style Bosche machine seems to be the same model number but has a different dial . we have to manually turn to spin after every cycle ! Not sure will a re set sort ? WAP28378GB
@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 hi thanks for the swift response , it will not automatically go into spin after every cycle , if we dont put to spin the clothes are too wet to take out
@jamesgavin7111 no problem. It could be a draining out issue perhaps. It may be draining out the water but not at the correct pace. Did you check the filter and the pipe leading from the drum to the pump housing ?

The key and anti wrinkle bottom stays on and 0:12 stays on my display. The Washington machine doet response on noting even when I pull the electricity off and the off button. Please help me😢
If that does not work try this… Is it possible the Machine Got damp? What I would try (worth a try) is to dry the front of the machine with a hairdryer on full heat where all the bottom and dial are for at least 12-15 minutes spreading the heat evenly. Turn on the Machine and try it again
Did you solve it? I’m having the same issue. Checked the tubes (both black and grey one) and changed the pump with a brand new one. It works if I do the short rinse/spin program without any clothes inside but when I try with a longer program with clothes inside the E18 still pops up. Also can’t reset it. I can follow the instructions in the video just fine but when I turn it back on the display will not light up all at once (meaning the reset went through). After turning it back on it will basically act normally and not reset if you get what I mean. Any help is much appreciated. Many thanks.
These machines are a poor offering from Bosch, seem to be plagued with faulty control units and memory. Every one of them has a fault code repeatedly showing and they can lock the door at random.

Hi, Unfortunately I don’t know the reset technique for that particular model of Machine. Are you getting any error code ?

How do we set the hot water temperature on serie 4 please ? Really struggling

Hi Lucy. Did you try the reset a couple of times? It sometimes takes numerous efforts for it to reset

Usually an uneven load. Try just doing a spin cycle and then retry doing a wash

Why do you have to put it on a separate spin after each cycle ?

This is a heating issue (e20) it could be the element, Thermostat or Main PCB at fault. I’d contact Bosch direct if still in warranty.

Did you try keeping the start button pushed in for 5-10 seconds?

Maybe you have inadvertently turned on the child lock? If Not perhaps a faulty door lock

Agreed, They are absolute rubbish. And the cost of them is outrageous too
