you all probably dont care at all but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
I don't know what it is, but the "photo of a young man in a van in vietnam" really hits hard. I think its just the contrast to "handrail in the shower", showing that the people that lived there, lived entire lives.
Patrick Hawkinson Plenty Of Artists have two chord songs. This song is 2 chords with a riff to accompany, with varying bass/keys/drum pattern and differentiating vocals. Not saying it’s not a good song, in fact it’s beautiful, and my favorite song and artist right now. She is the real deal though
@@TheEvilbunny150 This is my favorite song from Courtney. I adore "City looks pretty", "Avant Gardener", and "Sunday Roast", but they don't even come close to the love I have for "Depreston". It is uncannily affecting, nostalgic and cathartic in effect for me. The tone of the guitars, the slightly jaded yet hopeful delivery of Courtney's vocals, the structure of the song, etc. all work incredibly well.
The last person to pull that off correctly was Kurt Cobain. But I think she's pretty much a spiritual successor to him in my opinion it wouldn't be surprising if she was born on the same date and year he died.
existential. anarchist maybe because you're back in your smal (maybe shitty) town after spending the summer somewhere nicer... and now you have to look at all those things you're kinda sick of
I got the drummers stick he launched it into the crowd at the end of the show, wish they had singed it i have no proof now. None the less good times aha
No matter how many times i listen to her songs, they still manage to get greater and greater
Right on
Yea same

It takes a special kind of songwriter to be able to pull off a 2 chord song. She's the real deal folks.

Song writer and storyteller

@@OB.xI see a lot of Kurt in her as well
7 years passed and I’m falling in love with this song even more
She performed this at sunset at Coachella this year and it was so beautiful. We both just stood there mesmerized, pretty sure we both cried.
Real music, real lyrics, real audience. REAL LIFE. Courtney is divinely good.
Saw this live, really great intimate crowd. Notice next to no phones which is a lovely change. Courtney is a God
Wow you're right.. no cell phones.
Goddess*?
The feeling this gives me is just unreal
love hearing the crowd sing along, jut magical. PLEASE come to Denver when you can, please!!!
Her voice is everything
this song reminds of first day of high school for some reason
existential. anarchist maybe because you're back in your smal (maybe shitty) town after spending the summer somewhere nicer... and now you have to look at all those things you're kinda sick of
it's got that sort of melancholic morning feeling that you get on the first day of school.
For me it's the last day of high school
She's the best
One of them, I imagine.
Queen Courtney. Thanks so much for this amazing moment
How this has 17 dislikes is beyond me. This is perfection
Recent discovery for me - loving it!
Courtney proves that music doesn’t have to be technical or complicated.
It’s about the spirit & sentiment.. when she sings it’s from the heart ✌🏾
She is keeping music alive along with M. Ward. I am late to follow but she is already in my hall of fame...which only includes the best.
Despite being a 2 chord song, the lyrics are incredibly deep and manage to get a gritty smile of my face at the end of each verse
hope to see you live one day, love watching videos of you performing!
I saw her last Wednesday... this song totally caught me. Lovely song.

Gracias por ser lo más bonito que jamás me haya pasado, Bichito. Aún cuando ya no estemos juntas. Te amo siempre.

"Heart" this young woman's music and this song!
Lindy Morrison tells me it's her favourite Courtney Barnett song.
I played this to my English friend the other day and she asked if I was depressed?
first i start cryin then i was happy thx love ya :D
Is she a lefty-player I see?
Thank To You Courtney and your band members are cool!

I love bones (once more time)
I got the drummers stick he launched it into the crowd at the end of the show, wish they had singed it i have no proof now. None the less good times aha
@Timothy Lee hmm yeah
L-O-V-E
She found her calling
would give anything to be that Mic
I dont know whether to love you or hate you
:)
Shame on Grammys for awarding AllAbout the Bass girl.
'ton' of pressing concerns
left handed
If only she had a voice as good or distinctive as Lou Reed!
her voice is perfect. just normal. no heroin.
it is
It’s really distinctive and beautiful
She’s real music unlike that mumble rap that’s taking over. Keep this generation alive real music
Most.. things. Scare me .But this doesn't.
preston aint that bad
The only act close to her right now is Potty Mouth
Bully is pretty similar and they have played the same venue before I think
This is an anti war song
Not bad, but if you consider this profound, you really should consider expanding your perspective.
How many perspectives do you want in a song?
