CHARLESTON JETTIES - Redfish On Z-Man Diezel MinnowZ

I started out fishing the rising tide for an hour until the tide swung around and started to fall out. Fished one lure all day, Z-Man Diezel MinnowZ in Beer Run color. Matched it to a 3/16 Texas Eye jig head by Eye Strike. The approach was throwing right up on the rocks and letting it fall slowly, usually picking up a bite on the 2nd or 3rd twitch.

What is your boat setup? Also, I know that landing is private - can you become a member if you're not an island resident?

2012 East Cape Vantage. You can get a pass there but it's more expensive if you are a non resident.

You can do it on a really calm day and on a not so strong tide.
