  • Arashiyama is one of Kyoto's top tourists spots, known for its bamboo forest, temples - and crowds. But there are still beautiful, uncrowded, tranquil spots. These spots are filled with important historical and religious treasures. Join me for a livestream exploring the quieter side of Arashiyama and discovering more about the history and temples of this district.
    【What is "Nihon Walkaru"?】
Nihon Walkaru brings you ASMR walks through places in Japan. I focus on explaining history, religion and customs of places
    "Nihon" means "Japan" in Japanese.
"Walkaru" is a mashup of the English word "walk" and the Japanese word "wakaru", which is "to understand" or "to know."
So Nihon Walkaru roughly means to know Japan through walks. My goal is to make it easy to understand ("wakaru") what you see walking through Japan.
