- Blade & Sorcery has always been an incredibly impressive physics playground, but with its full release, it attempts to become more than that with an all-new 'Crystal Hunt' progression mode.
But is it any good?

Ok lads, on Nomad, Baron told me what Nomad’s current situation is on 1.0. So yeah we do in fact have to wait months, huge update, but the issue is so far, theres so many features which could definitely crash out the game, (the golem, large amounts of enemies, huge maps mean more rendering, large dungeons and amounts of loot. For all we know it could maybe take just up to a year if it calls for it just like how PCVR 1.0 got delayed at least 1 or 2 times.
Ask the baron☠️ to make a quest 3 update fuck me
Now I can finally re install Blade & Sorcery. Rip to any nomad players out there who can't enjoy this.

@@calvicantiso8561 From what is in the update, I'm pretty sure the Quest alone cannot handle all of it. I think they'll eventually add it, just not now.
i love seeing that clip of the low-tier weapon struggling to pierce enemies, i can't play this until the 27th but i can already tell the sense of progression is gonna be so good

i started playing again and the new update is so cool. the giant rock boss is incredibly terrifying, but also makes you say wow as it throws massive rocks at you. absolute golden update, 10/10

You would think it being the full release that they would wait to release intill the nomad port was finished but I'm happy that it has came out and I can watch others why I wait and it looks pretty good
It’s definitely worth the wait, though I’d recommend not spoiling the ending for yourself if possible since it’s pretty incredible!

They’re working on porting it from the PC version, so it won’t be for a while unfortunately.
Why should they wait? There is literally no point in that.
With this, they get feedback they otherwise wouldn't have. And they would have to debug 2 games at once, when people inevitably find bugs.
I understand why y'all are frustrated, but it literally makes no sense for them to delay it
even bigger studios trying to do VR can't even get it right... its insane.. the blue print of combat is already there with this game

Number 1. Can I play this on my oculus quest two if I buy it on steam
Number 2. Is it gonna look the same way on my oculus quest two
Number 3. Should I buy this version for my quest 2 on my PC or should I get nomad?

1. If you buy it on Steam you’ll have to play through Quest/Steam Link, just make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements to run the game
2. This footage was captured on medium settings on the Quest 3 through Steam Link, so everything apart from the resolution will look just as good
3. The Crystal Hunt update shown in this video won’t be available on the Nomad version for a while, so if your PC can run the game, I’d recommend playing it there instead

One thing I wish they added was a higher difficulty where sharp objects cannot slash through or penetrate bones, because at the moment all you have to do is get a thrust into their head and they die.
How do u play it when you buy it on pc?
I'm on the quest link, so it's on the pcvr version but for some reason I'm unable to update it to 1.0 and I don't know why
If you’re on Steam, try restarting the application by closing it fully in task manager, then re-opening it once fully shut down.

According to Steam: I bought this in 2019. Played it for a half hour. Never logged in again.
They finally fixed the reason for my not playing it. I don't need the game to be Skyrim but give me something! Gonna try it. We are in a Game Drought anyway.
if they add multiplayer and a rpg map with dungeons and boss drops and basically yea baldurs gate grinding lol ( oh boy half of population will be in blade and sorcery)

It won’t be for a while unfortunately since they have to port it from the PC version.

If you have a decent pc rig you can use oculus air link to connect to your pc, launch steam vr, buy blade and sorcery on steam, and now you will have access to the full update and pc mods.

I run pc vr with a gpu of 1650 and 72. Hertz with a link cable and the game still runs at 10 fps how do I make it run better

As much as I love the update, fighting the same boss, in the same room, over and over, is VERY repetitive. It would've been fine if it was a diffrent room, but it wasn't. And it just made it feel a little rushed, and immersion breaking.
the boss being the Golem or is there a human that's like really good?
@adamcookie26 unfortunately the golem :/ I was expecting the golem to be like the final fight but you gotta fight him 6 or 7 times. REALLY wish they did just have a few bigger dudes for at least the first 2 bosses
