Hey Wes, king of diamonds looks pretty cool, but I have to agree.. That Ragnar looks badass! 😎... Thanks for the vid man.. Awesome as always! good stuff!
Thanks Sean! Yeah someone suggested I look at that axe and when I jumped onto the website it said New highlighted above it. Should be a very interesting thrower!
That is a great idea! If you guys are interested in that I can start throwing those in at the end of the video. I always have a few crazy things that happen in just about every video.
New to the game, first thing I looked at was WATL Axes. Cracking review. Next video 10 rotations yeah? Great videos man! Agree strange with the square look, cleaver like. Weird but interesting.
So after some more digging because I to was curious. The square handle aids in hand placement and the release for some in competition. It actually makes sense for a single rotation and competition and I can see how some would like it. I had to find out because I hate not knowing haha. 10 rotations! Haha I need some more room but I actually wouldn’t mind going back farther
@MidgardAxe ahh I'm with you. So it's an additional anchor point for the hand for consistency etc? My friend rescued an old hatchet, square handle, he's restoring it as it was quite rusty and neglected. He's gifted it to myself so I will have a practice and test the theory for myself. I think I'm not competant with half the distance you throw from man, you're an animal! Haha.
My son boughr me a mini bench grinder for my birthday. It makes any axe razor sharp, repairs any chips and can extend the cutting edge too. I'd recommend one to anyone who indulges in axe throwing. Worked for me 😊
I have not however I have one on my list to get. I just went back and checked and it’s the Colossus. I noticed WATL took advantage of that butcher design in a big axe which is a smart move on their part. I assume they think it’s a great axe too which I agree. I’m sure I’ll get into the other ones at some point too
Awesome information and video, as always, Wes! I appreciate it, sir.
Great job on explaining the axe

Have you thrown any of the WATL big axes?
