Necrocide is a fantastic txdm band that I still have on constant spin. It's by those original txdm bands like Necrocide, Crucifix, Prophecy, Disencumbrance, Detrimental, Imprecation and the likes that the true style and spirit was conceived and set forth. Corpse Gristle Recs was where it was at back in the glory days. I consider myself so lucky to have grown up with that stuff.
Finally getting around to watching this episode. I was at, not one, but two different stops on that tour. They played in Spokane then played in Boise. So worth the drive. I had the honor of chatting with Brad from Devourment & Sean from Ingested, along with most members of Extermination Dismemberment. Just giving them all the praise all the bands deserve for putting in the work and getting on tours. Touring is never easy but it can very rewarding.
Absolutely elated to have this episode. Devourment have influenced my own music more than any other and Ruben has remained one of my most respected vocalists of all-time.

I would find cool bands on a label and buy more bands from that label in the Hope's that the music would be good and I would find things I didnt know about. Tooth & Nail had some good and interesting bands.

Slam heads and modern death metal kids finally realizing what us old heads had to go through trying to convince kids how good and influential the OG death metal and death/thrash bands from the late 80s and early 90s were. When there’s 1000 slam/deathcore bands a minute for 15 years it’s easy for kids to have no context of where it came from.

Lol. Slam heads and modern death metal kids finally realizing what us old heads had to go through trying to convince kids how good and influential the OG death metal and death/thrash bands from the late 80s and early 90s were.
When there’s 1000 slam/deathcore bands a minute for 15 years it’s easy for kids to have no context of where it came from.
