'They messed with wrong cartels". They were random victims that didnt mess with anyone. There is no 'right cartels to mess with' which is what this sentence implies. 30 sec is enough lol
Actually not just 5 states, don't go to that hell hole at all, in fact no where south of the U.S is worth going to anyway.
I went to Cancun with my then girlfriend/now wife 22 years ago. I was so reckless like leaving the resort to walk into the forest at night and a guy guarding the boat house asked why I was there. I told him I was just bored and left. What if this guy was a cartel. I was such an idiot. We also went into downtown Cancun which is dangerous today. I was lucky. Not going back to Mexico.
thats ur fault man. Dont get into bad situations
As a person from Zacatecas, it is true. We have a high crime rate
Never stepping in Mexico, China and Korea, aight
14 years for rape and murder... madness.
"sophisticated" is not a word that is associated with gangs/cartel it's the literal antithesis
I spat out my coffee when I see buffy running through sunnydale high during this video
How were they *messing* with the cartels to deserve this???
Mexico was never a tourism country. I don't understand why would people visit such country.
This is more scary then ghost
MESSED WITH? They're victims.
Great content but my only gripe is the use of the film clips, i find them to be really distracting from the stories being told.
Visited the Yucatan Peninsula for the first time this summer 2023. Traveling solo, clearly a tourist, I have felt safe on every beach, every town, village, favela's and seen quite a few cartel blacked out SUV's. Just be respectful, don't point fingers or phones. They know by now that tourists bring wealth to the community and are to be left alone.
And it’s like other UA-camrs day, don’t get involved with them and let them be and they will let you be. They just after each other for territory.
I think the majority of the time, that is true, but crazy stuff does happen. Getting caught up in shoot outs, or even a drunk/rogue sicario having a bad day
@@lucassmith1886 yeah but idk if you seen the interview with a hit man saying that he don’t like people that throw their life away or just waiting and doing nothing with their life. I just threw that in here lol
Cartels need you for money, a single tourist... Yep, that's how they make the big bucks, not only they won't mess with you, they'll escort you around safely!
That's the effect of taking drugs , they see humans as animals
WTF is with the click-bait title?!? Only Lizbeth's death came even close to being "Brutally Tortured And Killed" & it was by one guy, not really a cartel. NEVER will earn my subscription with that BS.
Lessons learned do your research on the crime rate of the area you’re going to visit. Don’t call the police on someone in a foreign country. Don’t haggle or try to cut corners in a foreign country. Don’t trust anyone in a foreign country & be aware of your surroundings.
My family is all Mexican and they say the cartel are true psychopaths
Very True
Number 2 is so fucking selfish. Got two friends killed and one crippled just for some plastic surgery. Oh naw.
How are people not involved in that side of thing messing with cartel they were on holiday or doing medical stuff nothing too do with cartel it like I don't get how they as cartel can't make any argument too victim they killed or kidnapped
The minority is not the exception to the rule. Mexico is not dangerous. Thousands upon thousands of people have been to Mexico and only a tiny percentage of had issue. You can’t just grab a couple of example and label the country as dangerous
Calm down, no one is believing that bs
A 28 year old who is more happy with putting their life on the line and getting body shaping surgery rather than actually being healthy and excersize.. Natural selection
Why are cartels so evil 😢
I mean if Elizabeth stayed home with her kids that wouldn’t of happen. I am Mexican. I do not go visit family any more sadly. It’s just to crazy out there
You have these chimes going off in certain parts of this that really takes away from the video. It makes the narration next to impossible to hear if you're on an app. Just a little friendly FYI
abut 4000 Americans out of every 100,000 are victims of some kind of crime each year in the U.S. In Mexico it is about 1500 per 100,000 which are much lower.
Do you live under a rock ? Are you posting this as a joke ? Are you dense ?
dunno why people still think thats a smart place to vacation too
Damn the real moral is make sure u get a literal gated guarded resort! Like Xcaret occidental! It took me 6 days to convince my ppl to leave the resort and go into tulum,or where ever 5th Avenue is! When the cab driver asked where i wanted to go n i said 5th Avenue, i got a double look and then she said " your fuckin crazy" 😂 had the best time of my life!!! Musta been February 2022!
Tourism is bad for the country especially the fancy ones it keeps out locals there and it causes people to not afford to be in their own country
I will never see the appeal of wanting to go to Mexico. Their government is basically ran by the Cartels. Drugs, Violence, and Sex Trafficking is basically commonplace down there also. I'm sorry but there isnt enough money in this world to make me want step one foot over that border into that chaotic country. Going to Mexico is like foreplay with death. It's really sad to see Mexico in such a state too cause they have a really rich culture down there.
The Country that should be vanished..
The cops and cartel work hand in hand. Call the cops and your kinda dead 😂😂
Why do people keep going there it’s dangerous
Send the 4 branch of the US military and that will end that...
Never had an interest in visiting Mexico or anywhere in South America
I am mexican move to malaysia 1000% safe country than U.s
8:46 men?
I'm going to call bs. I bet some of these victims were up to no good
Why would anyone visit those horrible countries is beyond me!
What terrible editing, the timelines are everywhere. A story starts with one date, but when explaining it lists another date. Wtf.
The moral of the story Never visit Mexico
Perfect example of something cheap resulting to be expensive. People want to travel to mexico for vacation (non-expensive), the results will be loosing your life (expensive).
Between Canada and the USA a military deployment should severely help limit cartel influence. Hopefully they can work out an aid agreement with Mexico
Lol 😂 that's what they tell you they want that lithium in Mexico. The US Government controls the Cartels.
Every time I hear the word Cartel, first thing comes into mind is Mexico. It's like a part of their Identity and persona now.
Ahh, south america, known for its beautiful cartels and nonexistent justice system. lets plan our vacation honey!
😂😂
This means the cartel are more powerful than the government...
Crazy shit. My sister used to work with Latavia, the tummy tuck traveler
I'm so never visiting Mexico.
“Messed with”
This is why I'd never EVER visit any of the main torture cartel countries ie Mexico, Colombia etc etc 😅
You should seriously change the name of the video. I know I wouldn’t have misnamed not for fear but lack of…
Cartel wouldn't have any power if humans didn't use/buy drugs
