Probably one of the most complicated RC Trucks I ever worked on, but I love a challenge. I purchased one of these for my son- in - law last summer. Seitched it to a brushless motor. I had to replace the rear differential because it was so packed with sand it exploded. Someone drove it on a beach, in a lake. He ended up giving me the Summit yesterday when he knew I was about to purchase my own. He knew how much I wanted a Summit and decided just to give it to me. I am going to find him a Slash this year.
I know this video was a year ago. But I’m just curious since you had it tore down that far how come you didn’t check your differential gears? They are the weak link. If you ever need to replace them put the hardened ones in your never have problems again
@@Hackers50Maker I figured you must’ve. I enjoyed the video though. I’ve been there a couple times in the last 12 years until I switched over to the hardened spider gears in the differential then I’ve never had another problem Except for every couple years I put a new 775 on the stock one.

Nice. Do you always use grease? I’m rebuilding mine and can’t decide between grease and oil.
Grease. No seals, oil will run out
