- In todays video, Paul Drew from The Studio Rats is checking out the awesome new term pedal from Walrus Audio called the Monumental.
This tremolo has every tremolo sound that you could ever wish for with the added bonus of it being able to be used in stereo which can create some stunning wide modulation effects.

The Monumental Harmonic Stereo Tremolo is an analog, optical tremolo inspired by the beautifully jagged, red-sand desert landscape of Monument Valley. The Monumental is capable of blending between harmonic and standard tremolo in stereo to produce rich, luscious, warm pulsating modulation producing valleys as smooth or as jagged as the real ones that our dear mother nature created long ago.

I don't think there is one in any of the modelers either..

Another great, concise review of an interesting pedal! Have you any thoughts about the sound of this unit compared to the tremolo section of the White Whale V2?
Both are great, but this adds the stereo capability.
Paul, the sounds are so over the top of YT algo, perfect production, eh TSR is there for a reason. One Q: When you use it stereo IN and OUT compared to mono IN stereo OUT, is there a difference between the volume on both sides? Something I see sometimes in pedals like this, when you use full stereo IN OUT, there is a loss of volume hence pan one of the sides.🎉

That’s delicious! And so many options, perhaps too many, such as the random setting. Suspect it’s relatively pricey though, so guess I’m going to have to wait for the Joyo rip-off …
Nice, but still much prefer the White Whale you tested & raved about last week - more versatility, even more "organic" (whatever that may mean to each of us) sounding.
Ah, and the added spring reverb.
