I did this with a 12 inch sub one day. Just to see how it sounded and have a little fun. Took tons of hot glue. Layered the sides with extra cardboard to help strengthen the box. And eventually decided to put in a port hole. Sounded alright for what it was.
A few things I did different with my boxes. I used 732 adhesive on all the flaps and gaps and then used primer spray paint to coat the cardboard for longevity and also added some insulation inside.
I often use a box to test random speakers i get from junk items that are no good ,You put far more effort into your speaker to be honest it sounds fairly decent sounds like you got a decent amount of bass .
I have a cardboard speaker that I actually use for daily use because it can play down to 27hz. It has a 1 1/2 inch speaker and a 7 inch passive radiator and a 10 inch passive radiator. It's quiet, but it gets the job done

The one 15 inch mid i have i put into a cardboard box and the thing actually sounds good but it has a lack of bass and overtime loses acoustic energy but in the far future im going to build a reinforced T line box via cardboard and then i think it will kick some ass btw good video

The 6x9's are in series in one box as my center channel and the 4x5's are my left and right surround speakers lol. I duct taped them for stability and to keep them sealed well. Actually sounds pretty ok for what it is.
I'm listening to this with a cardboard box speaker that can make everyone in the house complain about the bass😂 I'm also using a Boombox, that is older than me as an amp
best part is you can put a stamp on it and mail it away. p.s. I'm sure I've skipped the Crutchfield ad 4,000 times already, youtube need more advertisers!

+Mikeymike during warmer months cats shed their hair, so grooming them helps them stay cool and stops all the hair from getting all over. Plus they're usually happier like this and enjoy being stroked more.

I did this with a thick box, two 4 inch 10 watt speakers and a ribbon tweeter, and filled it with poly, and damn! It turned out suprisingly good!

Now make a sub box with the z5500 and the bigger box
Back when I young we used to put 6x9's in old shoe boxes. Just cut the top to fit and duct tape on the lid so it didn't blow off. Sounded pretty good.
