This Tree has been with my family for over a hundred years

Goodness. Sometimes with the storm comes lightening. There is a water song by the Algwuin online. They ask that we sing it. I worry about the floods so I sing it sparingly although good for our fires a could of years ago. water song algonquin on UA-cam. Good luck. You could all surely need it about now.

The vision of her was still scorched into his eyes, becoming more and more vivid with every blink. A woman made of pure power, raindrops hovering around her, a perfect casing of crystal. Lightning lingered in her gaze, burning at his heart, but making him feel alive. It was this same lightning that surged through him, pressing for survival, pressing for something dry and warm and stable. His own folly had awakened her. His own folly would bring his demise.
Okay I thought the It Will Come Back was my favorite, but this one just gave me literal chills - your remixes are incredible. I'm so subscribed! Looking forward to Arsonist's Lullaby. Can't wait to hear more of your work!

Although it’s only been 4 years, it feels like it’s been 4 millennia since I’ve seen my wife. Mortal years somehow longer, every minute like another knife to the heart. Since my immortality was stolen from me, I’ve also learned that being mortal, your memories leave you and are replaced with new ones. Like sand washing away with the tide to be replaced. But no matter how much I forget, I can never forget her.
I summoned her near an hour ago, she should be here by now. The clouds start to darken, and I hear the pounding thunder, and feel it shaking through the earth. Rain pours and lighting dances across the sky.
She’s here.
A flash of lightning strikes a giant evergreen tree near me. I turn to look, and I meet her gaze, hatred burning in her eyes. Underneath the burning branches of the evergreen tree stands the Storm goddess.
“ I thought you’d never come darling” I say, with as much arrogance as I can muster.
“I didn’t think I would either.” She says angrily “Summon me again, and you’ll be in the same position as this tree.
My wife, my one eternal love, my one true enemy. She didn’t come to play games, and neither did I.
Time to get my revenge. Time to kill a goddess.
