In Alberta (where I'm from), you can ride a 49cc moped limited to 70 km/h (45ish Mp/h) with a learner's license at 14. Slow as balls yes, but at 14, it's a hell of a lot better than walking or riding a bike everywhere. I bought one then and am buying an r6 in a few weeks, (I'm coming off mx as well before people jump on it being a 600) and I have to say, they are fucking hilariously fun, them being extremely slow to accelerate forces you to conserve momentum through corners and because they weigh nothing (220ish lbs) and all that weight being a few inches off the ground they handle surprisingly well. According to my infared thermometer, my tires were 130-140 degrees F the other day. You just have to ride them right.

Lol warm up on the V4R. So tame I’m surprised you didn’t fall asleep! But seriously, rad this the most intimidating bike you’ve ridden? I feel like the price tag alone would be make me hesitate but the weight and the power and the redline it’s gotta be next level. Side note, why can’t they use this as a homologation special and run carbon frames in WSBK? It would be an unfair advantage but that’s the whole point of race engineering, finding that unfair advantage. Also doesn’t look like they’ll need it to break Rae’s streak with Redding and the V4R! But that’s about the same thing I said last year a few races in.

A naturally aspirated engine with a better power to weight ratio then a turbo busa or a supercharged h2?
And it has a dry clutch.
You KNOW that engine ain't built to last but that is an incredible performing bike
