Hi there! I use ‘Creative Cake Decorating’ chocolate oil in ‘Navy’ for this project to get the blue of the chocolate. Definitely my favourite brand. As for the hexagons, I don’t actually use hexagon tins. I bake a square cake, make thick cardboard hexagon shaped templates, and use them to cut my cakes to shape. I hope this helps 🙂
