This will be a good one because I am not all knowing of all things Flower Kings, but they are great from what I have checked out! It is fun to do bands that you know very well (Devin Townsend for example for me) and argue about (Ocean Machine is NOT C), but this is great to help one explore and figure out where to go with them.
The 3 D tier albums were my main introduction to this band. I just felt "blah" and didn't look any further. Thanks so much for this session as I just checked out Unfold The Future and, WOW!, what a remarkable difference in quality. I love it and will definitely check out the rest of the discography.
Another great wheel of prog ! Was hoping for some more talk on the musicians, especially the drummers they've had which have made the albums slightly different And yeah when you look at how many music minutes total the albums have... how the hell they remember it all live!🤯
I'm not particularly a big fan of most of them, specially when there's added instrumentation or different keyboard sounds/tones. A few good moments for sure with improved audio, but overall it was disappointing to me.
I thought Rainmaker, Banks of Eden, and Back in the World of Adventures could be a little higher. Otherwise, great list guys! Totally agree that TFK are at their best when editing is done to keep things shorter ;)
I come from hearing the Roine Stolt solo album the Flower King album ...so long-time fan. Then I went from the beginning...through the whole catalogue as it was released. Early stuff by far the best. The recent albums are too similar...World of adventure is beilliant and i so love Stardust we are, Flower Power and Unfold The Future, which are all epic. Saw them in London in 2023, and still excellent 👍 I'd have Flower Power in instead od Speak no Evil....but Agree with Nathan in swapping row B for. C
Good to see the love for Adam & Eve, I fully agree. And I am actually with Notes on Stardust. This is probably due to discovering it late, after the other masterpieces.
20:28 I can't fathom how someone could call Monsters & Men "hot garbage". Is it just an "in comparison" exaggeration? Otherwise I can't understand that opinion. :D
I cannot in all clearness of mind and honesty with myself say that I ACTUALLY LIKE anything they've done after Desolation Rose. Not enough whole album for album anyway.
I love The Wheel!!!! With Notes and Nathan????? YES!!!!!
❤❤❤
Thanks for the support! ❤
Nathan on shuffle. His Yes ranking was epic.
Enjoying the show.
The Wheel is a grand concept.
Super fun episode! And glad I got to meet Notes and Nathan for it :)
Great to meet you as well! 😀
On Paradox Hotel - I love Notes exact list, and those are some of, or probably my most favorite FLower Kings songs.
Great video. Hope to see King Crimson and Pain of Salvation at some point, Unless they've already been made? can't find them
No haven’t done those yet. I’m sure we will.

Good place to start

Another fun episode! Keep up the good work!
Thanks!🙏🏻
Great as always!
Loved that Roie mentioned the band "Enchant" Enchant is a wonderful band
Love that band!
Love seeing Nathan on the channel!
Go Nathan!
What do you guys think of the 2022/2023 remixed and remastered releases?
I'm not particularly a big fan of most of them, specially when there's added instrumentation or different keyboard sounds/tones. A few good moments for sure with improved audio, but overall it was disappointing to me.

NOTES!!!!
Back again
Yes, Daniel. Serious Dreamers IS amazing.
Rainmaker should get more love. Highly underrated album.
Awsome!!!

They’re both great
Let’s go!!
Great episode. Thank you Notes for singling out “Driver’s Seat.” It’s always been criminally overshadowed.

YEESSS
Daniel’s description of The Garden of Dreams is exactly how I’d do it. One of my favorite songs by TFK
Yes!!! Amazing song!
Wheel of Gojira
Probably not
@@progreport damn
WHEEL OF KING CRIMSON OR KING DIAMOND WILL DESTROY YOU
Also not a fan of the remix.
IMO - Adam & Eve started a downward spiral of sameness and the appearance that Roine lost a step. I don't think they have recovered completely.
