About All In The Family:
One of the most acclaimed comedy series of all time, All in the Family with Archie Bunker as the irascible, highly opinionated, working-class family man who viewed the world on his terms and his terms only. When not arguing with his liberal son-in-law, "Meathead," Archie took refuge in his long-suffering wife, Edith, who tries her best to understand Archie's conservative ways and outdated beliefs.

These were the best sitcoms ever in the seventies
"In politics lies are called promises." - Eternal wisdom.
So true!
Aw Pop! When you ran for politics I didn't expect you to be a POLITICIAN!😮. 🤓😎✌🏼
Also he just wanted to tear down that old ugly flower ship and put up a nice 🆕Cleaner Plant!😮. 🤓😎✌🏼
LOL - "you forgot the butter!" 😂😊 A perfect scene. I love it. I don't know how they kept cool enough to do their lines without laughing hilariously.
Did you see how much of the meat he took? You wonder if the others had enough to eat since he took so much for himself.
@@alondralabute2310 I know! Mike has no food-shame🍳🍗😅
Always the 1st one and NEVER contributes to anything. Him and Gloria would have been out of my house.
@@dannycena42 It's a comedy, not a real life therapy session.
@@dannycena42 Never helps out either. How many times Gloria goes in the kitchen to help Edith with the dinner while Archie and the meathead sit in the living room. One episode where this is made so clear is the "Man on the Street" episode. Edith is telling M&G about Archie's phone call and Edith and Gloria go back and forth from the kitchen to the dining room carrying dishes and Mike follows them carrying NOTHING. He doesn't even help bring the food out!
Mike takes the cake! After George took it. Chocolate cake sounds like a perfect dessert after a pot roast dinner.
What the bunkers need is a Lazy Susan on the table
They couldn't have fit all the dishes Mike wanted. It's big enough for the salt and pepper shakers, sugar, napkin holder, stuff like that.
@@alondralabute2310 seriously, are you making it up? That is the device they had in 1969 when they landed on the moon and they were having a meals?
What for?🤷🏼♂️. They have an Active Edith!😮. 🤓😎✌🏼
It was part of the comedic atmosphere of the show.
I really want to see full episodes.
They´re available on Amazon Prime.
It's Free on Pluto TV
Watch Smokey and the Bandit if you want to see Archie as a Sherrif lol.
That was Jackie Gleason ( Ralph Kramden ) not Archie
Jefferson is running as a republican. Wow
DMTBKA
If you knew anything about the history of the Republican party, it's not that surprising. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but seriously, look up the history of the Republican party and you'll be surprised
@@jonbourgoin182 I know, the first black congress members were black
Very true. 🤗
"Shooting his mouth off I hate it when those people try acting white" 😆
Anyone else notice how much Archie's voice sounds like the character Fred Flintstone?
Fred Flintstone was supposed to be Ralph Kramden.
Edith’s is the most annoying one ever
@@TOCC50 Boo to your reply. I love Edith 's character!!
@@MayThereBeWorldPeace makes me sick
@@TOCC50 Careful or I may have to get the 5 eyes to watch you!
Isn't this the one where Archie says as George is leaving "He takes the cake." Then George comes back in and takes the cake with him before Mike can get a slice?
Kamala Harris obviously learned her political strategy as a child watching George Jefferson.
There was a part in this episode when Lionel told his father that when he got into politics, he never expected him to start acting like a politician.
Mike and Gloria do not make sense! They're in their early 20s! Why the hell couldn't they just date until Mike graduated and got a job?? Why is he living in his wife's childhood bedroom???
MGTOW
Because if they weren't there would be no All in the Family.
Archie would never allow them to just shack-up.
It was the 70s. People got married young. And families helped each other out.
