Yep I just had finished reading book when I saw this video and was glad they changed in series. It was something sounded like Jamie would say and glad Ron Moore or someone changed it.
Quote: A true hero isn't measured by the size of his strength but by the strength of his heart. Sam: A true hero is measured by the size of his sword. I'm dying. 😂
Well . . . throughout the years Sam has been letting us know how proud he's of his sword, and he likes to remind us once in a while lest we forget. But Cait is (almost) always next to him when he does, so 🤷 I think her reaction is what he most enjoys about it. 😁
That's so weird lol, I initially thought it was Claire who said that in the show (without reading the book) & it turns she did say in the book but Jamie said it in the show lol!
A little late but...Sam is right about the quote from Jamie and Claire’s wedding: in the book it’s actually Claire that says those words. Sam knows those books.
@@hazleslife Under the Buena Vista Films banner they released some chewier stuff. Nothing as challenging as the prison rape scene in season 1, but still not for tender ears. In the irresistibly handsome department, and naturally noble heroism, Jamie's right in the profile.
Sam was right about the sun coming out line. It was in Dragonfly in Amber, when he comes back to her after released from prison, after her miscarriage. Claire says it about Jamie.
It's true what Richard says at the end about his Outlander character: Roger seems to be short-shrifted by the writers, because Jamie *does* get all the really good lines ;-)
Yes Sam was correct Diana's book refers to Jamie stepping outside and the sun shone! For me too. How gallant he was. "Your servant mistress" and that bow with the arm and hand motion! Thought about the servant part and how servicing of a lady was used. Very hot!!
Actually, Sam was correct about the sunny day comment in regards to the book. It was Claire talking about Jamie. And the Ron Moore line to Terry was every day I find I love you more than the day before.
Sam is right in the book Claire is the one who says on the wedding day when she saw Jamie it was like the sun came out, I just happened to be reading this part of the book when I saw this interview, actually the way Ron Moore or whoever changed it made it much better when Jamie said it about Claire… just my opinion. ….
Every time I watch or read Outlander, Jamie reminds me of my husband. He's said the same thing about not being able to bear my pain during delivery 😅 he's black belt in multiple martial arts, has had arms and legs broken or dislocated and popped back into place many time, was a butcher so can slaughter lambs and chickens, but he can't keep put when I'm in labor and don't ask him to cut the cord, he's too scared of hurting me. 😅 he's the Moroccan equivalent of Jamie.
Roger does have a sweet line to Brianna in book 9: "If you live 100 years, I want to live 100 years minus one day, so I never have to live without you." Brianna knew it must be a quote, and it was. Winnie the Pooh. He still meant it though, so I say we should give him the credit.
This is my first time hearing the actors talk outside of their roles and 1: I knew that American accent was fake, 2: I was not expecting Claire's actor to be Irish, and 3: I can't tell if Jaime's actor is speaking with a much weaker Scottish accent than I expected or if he's not talking with one at all and my brain is imprinting one on him
They've played a married couple for so long they act like it. The interaction between them is very "we've been together a long time." And they have, albeit professionally.
Sam knowing all of them and also the fact that it was Claire in the book instead made me happy 😆
This was fun to watch

Who else thinks that Sam should play Hercules in the live action Disney version?
Nah I’ve seen too many Hercules as it is. The character deserves a break until they branch off
He’s not muscular enough, Hercules is like ripped
EXACTLY
No Henry cavill because he looks like a Greek god
I’ve thought that as soon as I saw him lol
“Your honeypot is bare”
Divaliciousbeauty123 definitely Winnie the Pooh
Hahaha that made me lol 😂
LOLOLOLOLOL
THAT was Jamie. Lol
☺️
Larisa Kupinszky THATS WHAT I WAS HOPING SOMEONE WOULD SAY
Quote: A true hero isn't measured by the size of his strength but by the strength of his heart.
Sam: A true hero is measured by the size of his sword.
I'm dying. 😂
Miss Somerhalder 🍆 sword?!
Well . . . throughout the years Sam has been letting us know how proud he's of his sword, and he likes to remind us once in a while lest we forget. But Cait is (almost) always next to him when he does, so 🤷 I think her reaction is what he most enjoys about it. 😁
Miss Somerhalder Sam is king of the double entendres ( " sword")... Caitriona is a sucker for them... cracks up every time!
So good 😂
I'd fall on that sword 🤣
Sam has got quite the memory!
Yes! Somehow I can see a budding director in him!
“Jamie Fraser is so cheesy”😂
😘
😊😂
Absolutely was Claire in the book who the "Sun came out" phrase belonged to.... I was very disappointed that it was swapped in the TV show.
April Steele yep it was!! Sam is so smart!! 💗💗
Claire’s reactions to Jamie at the wedding were muted and changed from the book, which was terribly disappointing. But it’s done now.
Good on Sam for remembering that
oww, i've never read the books but i would've been much happier if claire said it in the show as well.
😘
Suddenly the inn door opened and the sun came out, in the person of James. A Marriage Takes Place, Outlander Chapter 14. Sam 1, Cat 0
I love how confident Sam was and the JAMMF was beautiful
😘
Considering Diana Gabaldon's career, Jamie Fraser kind if IS a Disney character.
Hahaha nice one
Was she involved in a Disney movie?
@@fairysaurus7557
She wrote stories for Scrooge McDuck comics.
www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-28840596
Disney wouldn’t touch Jamie with a ten foot pole. He isn’t very PG, now is he
@@hazleslife Under the Buena Vista Films banner they released some chewier stuff. Nothing as challenging as the prison rape scene in season 1, but still not for tender ears. In the irresistibly handsome department, and naturally noble heroism, Jamie's right in the profile.
Sam @ 2:47 "True hero is measured by the size of his sword." HAHAHA 😂 and Caitriona's reaction afterwards 😂
😳
Her face lmaooo
I love how he said Dory ahahah so cute 1:36
I just commented the same thing...thought it's just me😅.thats so adorable
Sam was right about the sun coming out line. It was in Dragonfly in Amber, when he comes back to her after released from prison, after her miscarriage. Claire says it about Jamie.
Claire says it of Jamie on the day of their wedding in book #1, Chapter 14 of Outlander.
Jessica Sarro It's a damned fine beautiful line no matter who said it...
their chemistry is overflowing ♥
😘
And people wonder why we love Jaimie...
Caitriona: “Oh, please.” 😆 “No, she doesn’t. She’s far too (practical).” 😂😂😂 2:15
San Heughan is such a nerd😂😂😂😂 he’s such a geek for Outlander I love it!
I am true Outlander and Disney fan!! Got them all right and knew the character. This was fun. Come on season 5
😘
Sam is right! In the book it is Claire who says that scot in a kilt is unbelieveable even if he is old but a young....😉💪🇳🇱
😘
I could listen to him speak literally, all day
"We're TV Guide, not Book Guide."
Heh 🙃
Lol! Also Cait appreciated the backup!
I hope the show never ends (atleast for a number of more seasons) I love them all
😘
Sam Heughan saying AAAA when Cait is wrong lmao i love him.
It's true what Richard says at the end about his Outlander character: Roger seems to be short-shrifted by the writers, because Jamie *does* get all the really good lines ;-)
I don't care about what they said it was nice to see them all again xx
Finally some outlander fun!! Thank you TVguide!
😘
Nobody:
Not even a Murtagh:
Briana and Roger: JAMIE FRASER OF COURSE SAID EVERYTHING
Yes Sam was correct Diana's book refers to Jamie stepping outside and the sun shone! For me too. How gallant he was. "Your servant mistress" and that bow with the arm and hand motion! Thought about the servant part and how servicing of a lady was used. Very hot!!
Sams eyes in that lighting 😍
You're right Sam! In the book it's Claire who says it!!!
Somehow, the way they looking at eachother still give me chill like in the movie. How i cant love this couple and this fantastic movie!!!!!!!
Cait and sam’s aaaww was so AAWW I CANT
Oh Sam, you are a Disney nerd.
Or he just remembers his lines well haha
Pretty sure he specifically said in this interview that he doesn't know Disney well
... the size of his sword. Haha! Sam's a funny one
I absolutely need more of this
Weird thing to be proud of but... I knew all of them. I'm such a nerd.
Love how much they were trying though. Esp Sam.
1:37
I donno the scottish way he says Dory, there is something hot about it...my most fav accent must be scottish
I love how Cait says ‘I love Finding Nemo!’
I got all of them right!! Love Outlander. This was fun to watch♡♡
Omg I love them so much.
I’m realizing Caitriona looks stunning without makeup 😳
My two favorite things... such a nerd that I got all of them 😂
Out of the four of them, Roger is the only one who has the same accent as the actor who plays him
This was fun!!
they're all so cute!
Sam’s eyes are so clear and gorgeous, wow 🤩
Caitriona was so pretty.. love her sm!!
Well chosen quotes. Sam remembered well, even the swap in the book. Well done!
😘
Love how Sam remembers the lines he spoke 💕
That cloudy day line was actually something showrunner Ron Moore said to his wife, costume designer Terry Dresbach
Actually, Sam was correct about the sunny day comment in regards to the book. It was Claire talking about Jamie. And the Ron Moore line to Terry was every day I find I love you more than the day before.
Paula Caballero Not according to the episode commentary
@@TeamSukiyo What episode commentary are you speaking of? The podcast? Or the short "inside the episode" they do on the app after every episode?

Let's appreciate that Sam knew the books so well

Me getting them all right after bingeing the show in a week😌

Im finishing season 4 tonight. Ill be catching up soon. :x
Love this show !
woaaah i could really hear caitriona's irish accent here! she hides it well in the show.
Sam's accent seems to change from interview to interview lmao
Sam is RIGHT, it's Claire's description of Jamie in full Scottish regalia for their wedding. Like "the sun came out" indeed.
This is my showwww! They need to put season 4 on netflix. I wanna go to scotland and find me a boo😭
Sam was right though in the book it is Claire that says something similar to that wedding ep quote.
Is there a video where Sam does his Jamie accent because it’s much thicker and I’d love to hear him recreate it
I'm currently binge watching season 1-3 on netflix. I knew a lot of these🙂
"It's TV Guide, not... Book Guide" 😂😂😂
Sam and Cait, the best couple. Tem como editar e deixar só os dois no vídeo?
Lovely people...i love them
It's true the television show is more Disney like than the books.
Their accents are confusing me lol who is from where?? haha
Richard and Sam are scottish, Cait is irish and Sophie is actually british
brak's mom theyre all british apart from caitriona. Sophie is english.
ell beveridge I hope you are just making a joke because otherwise it would be very sad
@@cordeliacarstairs2796 Technically Scotland still belongs to Great Britain, so yes, Richard and Sam are both British.

Sophie and Richard seem a lot more comfortable around each other. They're also both musicians.

“I don’t know Disney…but I’m gonna say Popeye…” 😝🤣
A true hero is measured by his sword, and Cait laughed.. I wonder is it true sword?
