December 1944 France Bing , Hope and others gave a uso show to over 100 k troops just a few day before the Battle of the Bulge . Bing said in an interview years later that this uso show has always been a bad haunting memory for him . Hey thanks !! I appreciate it !! I need to make more
This is a late conventional accostic machine, in the year 1925 Victor was switching to ORTHOPHONIC type intended to play electrical recorded records, such as this 40s record.
But as can ne heard here, even older accostic machines do a creditable job.
Only on 1950s with modern HiFi 78s useing eqilizations, that pre1955 machines can't cope with.
Compliments of the Season - His Master's Voice - Little Nipper and a Corporate Logo from the past. This version, unless statisticians are incorrect - is still the biggest selling single of all time - according to Billboard Magazine Publishing.
Thank You for sharing that !!
Sounds amazing!
That’s great.
78 rpm!
