Topps is getting a bit out of touch at the 500 dollar a box for 1 card price point. At that price your checklist shouldn't include an Elvis unless it's a Presley
I wouldn't pay 500.00 to watch Jesus and Jimi Hendrix battle it out in a steel cage match, let alone spend 500 on a single card gamble.

I like watching these video but I stopped collecting years ago. High prices for bad products. Over saturation as well. Most of these products aren't worth half of what they charge.
When I saw the Trout card on the thumbnail I knew I couldn’t watch the video because at some point Eric would blow my eardrum s out. Lol

Just a little? These products are for suckers. Someone made a comment about these not holding their value is accurate. Even the low numbers are of semi stars. The odds of pulling the big names is tough when you can pull Elvis andrus.

You usually get the shit end of the stick when you pay for a spot and it’s usually a higher end product so it ends up being one of your pricier spots... John means anyone lol.

Everyone would have had a chance at prize if names put in randomizer spun 10 times and whoever then recieved number would win...dont know if there was a one of one but same 9 chances not to win...maybe next time..

I can’t imagine buying into a break where you have a one in ten chance and the card pulled is numbered out of five. So how are the people with number 6-10 supposed to feel.
It’s worth it when you are someone like Rob Kardashian and you can afford it and pull a 1/1 Honus Wagner from a single box.

Were these the same price per slot..that would be unfair for the higher numbers since the max number is out of 10 and you can get cards out of 5 and out of 1.
That would be the case if you picked your number but this was randomized.

Exactly. Also look at cards long term . ive been collecting 39 years. None of the cards since 1980 have retained anything close to there value at there peak. They all go down eventually.except vintage. If you want long term investment. Vintage is the way to go.
You should open them by scratching the back of the box, instead of the front if you are sending the complete box to the winner. I'd rather have the scratch from the box cutter on the back.... just my opinion other may vary

just curious card that was in my slot wasnt numbered to 10 so 6 thru 10 had no chance of winning...

seemed like a fair way to do it, dont believe he would know which box was not out of ten, even if it had been out of ten you still wouldnt have gotten a card.
exactly so you make it possiable for all 10 entries a chance to win not 5..and how would you know wouldn't win wouldn't have been same postioning or might have been but at least had a chance....have to put names in randomizer and spin them...he knows there were 1of1 and cards up to 5..but nothing over 10..so each box had 10 spots ..so everyone needs a chance of winning..that's the point of 10 spots...not a sore looser either fare is fare notice said maybe next time should do it that way..my guess you won on a number under 5..

These are the kind of products that will ruin the hobby just like over production of cards in the late 1980's. The card companies are trying to artificially create demand. The rating system is part of it too. If you don't get the mint 10 than value drops drastically.
