Being alive is my greatest Christmas gift. I had a heart attack on 12/20 and it was the scare of my life. So being able to have a Christmas with my daughters and wife was the best gift I could ever imagine.

Got my first ever box of cards for Christmas. Found a new hobby and found this channel while researching what boxes were the best ones to get a collection started.
The best way to get a collection started is to buy individual graded cards of players you like. Buying boxes to build a collection is like scratching off lottery tickets in hopes of winning enough to buy a car. It just don't happen. Don't get me wrong, it's OK to bust a box now and then but you're never going to come out ahead unless you're the one in a million that pulls say, a Ruth/Ohtani auto card. Say you buy 10 boxes of a $100 product. Sure you may get some rookies, autos and maybe a card that will fetch a couple of hundred but for the same money, you could buy a 1968 Topps Johnny Bench #247 in PSA 8. Iconic cards such as this will never lose value. My first box of cards was either 1999 or 2000 Upper Deck Ovation out of Walmart. It had a Griffey Bat card valued at $300.00. I should have sold it. Now It's not worth 30 bucks.

My favorite Christmas gift this season was getting to spend some time with my brother. Our lives can be so busy, so it was nice to get together and catch up. Was nice just to have relaxation this holiday season. I didn't get much, but I just enjoyed the time with loved ones and relaxing. P.S. soooooo jealous of that Corbin Carroll Auto! As a Diamondbacks fan so cool to see the amazing Diamondbacks hits! (Even though I know I can never afford things like this, so a nice way to vicariously live through the community). We didn't do a traditional Christmas this year due to a family emergency however, the best Christmas gift I received was my mother's health. She had heart surgery on the 24th and was able to come home today so I can't think of a better present for this guy. Thanks for all the great content and I look forward to watching many many more!
You know, I learned a valuable lesson being a step father. I stepped up trying to become the male role model for my girl’s kids. This Christmas my favorite gift tbh was them little smiles they gave us while opening their gifts. I kinda went in this Christmas spent bout 3 paychecks for these babies. I got this I got that but nothing was better then, them opening their iPads/toys. My girl started a new job/finished lvn school recently so she didn’t have to worry bout anything! I feel achieved going into the new year. What a naaaaasty box!

My fave Christmas gift this year was actually one I got for my wife. She's always wanted to see Trans Siberian Orchestra live and we went to the concert in Cincy on the 29th.
